Ocean front views from the Papakea resort on the desirable north west Maui. The studio is located at the third floor (with elevator access) and only steps away from the ocean. The beautifully maintained resort features parking, tennis courts, mini-golf courses, swimming pools and ocean shore jacuzzi (with no additional resort fee). The condo is located about 10 minutes from the great restaurants in Lahaina or the beaches in Napili and few minutes walking from world famous Kaanapali beach.

Neighborhood highlights

The resort is located on the northern part of world famous Kanapaali beach, voted best beach in the US in 2023 by Tripadvisor. The beach is accessible by foot in about 5-10 min from the studio. We enjoy the Grotto at Hyatt along the beach walk that starts about 5 min away from the resort. Another point of attraction along the beach walk is the Whaler village, great for restaurants and shopping.

The lawn in front of the studio offers a perfect spot to watch the awesome sunsets of Maui. You can only best this from the jacuzzi located on the same lawn:)

There are several places to enjoy dinner in the neighborhood. We like Duke, a short 5-10min walking distance away. The Fish Market, while a bit pricey, brings daily catches of fresh fish and is about 10min walk along Lower Honoapiilani, north. We like to use the grills on the property to cook fresh fish from there. The grocery store, Times, is also 5-10min away, and so is ABC store for snacks, souvenirs, sun cream. Best for nightlife are the Main Street in Lahaina. We like the Mall Ocean tavern.

Best longer trips include the road to Hana (most scenic drive in North America) and Haleakala sunrise.
