.You may even find you have the house to yourself....You do need to have an adventurous spirit to be able to deal with living with strangers....however I do try to be the cement between people and find things they have in common and place them accordingly....The accommodation is economical and suits the traveler on a budget. This is my family home that I have brought up 3 children in but find my mobility is impaired and have difficulty climbing the stairs. I am delighted to share my home with you....
There is a guest only kitchen, lounge and bathroom

Lovely period house with an artistic atmosphere. Quiet, light and well equipped. Jean is welcoming and interesting. An easy distance to the centre of town and harbour. I recommend a stay if you want a private, peaceful arrangement.
Jean was a wonderful host, and immediately made me feel comfortable in her house. The bedroom was great value for money, and having access to a kitchen and TV made living much easier. Thanks, Jean
Jean was a great host and made my stay a very pleasant one, I was staying in the double room, great size room light and airy. There is everything you will ever need at your disposal, a real home from home.
I had a very enjoyable stay at Jean's. The bedroom was large and quiet. The Kitchen had all the facilities I needed to cook after long days in plymouth and it was kept clean and tidy. The area itself looked like it was up-and-coming with lots of new developments happening. It was also within easy walk to the waterfront. Jean is a great host, very helpful and friendly. I would stay again!
Jean was there to receive me and showed me the room and guest lounge and guest kitchen. Guest lounge less classy than on the photo and tv not working properly. Nice that washing machine and kitchen were at my disposal, with tea etc in cupboards to share.
We had a comfortable stay at Jean's place, a short drive to Cornwall and lots of parking available outside which is convenient. There is a store where u can buy groceries that is just round the corner. Jean was a friendly and approachable host and provided us with maps to explore Plymouth and Cornwall which was very helpful. The bed was comfortable and the wifi connection was fast. We made use of the kitchen for our meals and it was very useful. The toilet is shared with other guests which was fine for us.
jean is a very friendly host. she gave us a warm welcome, not minding about the nightly hour.
the living room is cosy, albeit not as impressive as shown on the foto. we did not have to pay extra for the heating.
the standard of cleanliness is not really what one expects. an accommodation can be modest, but it should be clean. i only noticed that the cleaning woman had been there by bubbles effervecsenting from the lavarory bowl when used first.
