We are happy to respond to requests accompanied by at least a "hello", a word about the reason for your stay and about yourself. Flexible but not available 24 hours a day, please feel free to ask if your arrival time is possible rather than a terse message like "I'm arriving at..."
We want to host in the (original) Airbnb spirit: we strive to be flexible to meet your needs as much as you respect our hosting and our place.

The space
We do the cleaning and maintenance ourselves. Abrupt questions or places left in the care of an anonymous hotel service are experiences we want to avoid... :-)

We accept some dogs (only 1 at a time) under the conditions described below.

This maisonette welcomed its first guests at the end of 2020.
It is an annex of the main house in which we live; we will be discreet and respectful of your tranquility but available if you wish.

10 km from the toll of St Arnoult (A10), 12' from Rambouillet, 30' from Chartres, 60 km from Paris. Perfect location for a stop at the edge of the forest

The common entrance is through the garden.

This maisonette is composed of a very bright main room of about 25 m² equipped with a kitchenette. It overlooks the garden and a lovely view of our house and the village church.
A beautiful bathroom/toilet with a large shower cubicle.

Upstairs 2 very attic bedrooms, each with a 140 cm bed. In the common room a 140 cm sofa bed of good quality.
All bedding dates from October 2020.

Sheets are provided and beds are made. Bath towel not provided (+ €5/person if needed)

Please pay attention to the following points:
- The 2 bedrooms upstairs are small and very attic-like.
- It is accessed by a narrow and steep staircase.
For these reasons, the accommodation is not suitable for children, people with difficulties on stairs and possibly people of very large size or large build.
- The box is too far away for a Wi-Fi connection, but we provide an Ethernet/USB cable for fiber access if needed.
- The Free network doesn't work in the village!

We have a dog. He's big and potentially impressive but very nice. He sleeps in the garden. Your accommodation is forbidden to him.
Your dog is welcome ONLY if it is sociable and you let them both regulate each other. They must also not have access to your rooms or the sofa in the accommodation, and must not be left alone in the accommodation. We want to know as much as possible about your dog and its training BEFORE agreeing to welcome it or not.

Nearest stations: Rambouillet 12 km or Dourdan 12.5 km. There is a Dourdan - Rambouillet bus service via Sonchamp (line 10) from Monday to Saturday.

Highway A10 10 km away: toll exit no. 1 Dourdan - St-Arnoult

It's easy to park in the village square 50 m away or possibly in the garden on request, but it's requested not to park in the alley in front of the house
