The flat is housed in one of the well-known historical apartment buildings of Istanbul: the “Ojeni” (Eugenie). Ojeni was built in 1890’s as the residence for one of the most reputed families of Ottoman Empire. The owner, Madame Eugenie was the founder of the first pharmaceutical plant in Istanbul and her daughter, Alice Ghazarossian, was a renowned pianist in the 1900’s. Ojeni was restorated in 2009 to become one of the popular apartments among Istanbulites. It also ingeniously displays the panoramic view of the sea and the Historical Peninsula.
