About This Listing
I have a roomy and cosy apartment very centrally located in Copenhagen. The bedroom has a double bed (140 cm) and I will of course provide quilts, pillows, linen and towels.
Please note that the apartment is on the 5th floor and that there is no elevator.
The apartment is in the heart of Vesterbro where you will find loads of restaurants, nice shops, supermarkets, bars, and cafés. It is also a very safe neighbourhood. The apartment is on a one way street, and as the bedroom is facing the yard you will not be bothered by street noise. Vesterbro is centrally located in Copenhagen, with very easy access to shopping, sightseeing, and public transport.
And yes, you will have the place all to yourselves :)
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT :
I try to be flexible, but as I am always travelling when I rent out my place, I won't usually be there to let you in. The place where I have people picking up the key opens at 2pm and closes at 2am so you are sure to be able to check in during this period. You can store your luggage at the main central station and go exploring if your plane / train arrives earlier.
Check out is at noon unless we have arranged otherwise. You just pop your keys through the letterbox when you leave.
What you will have access to:
- Living room with dining table and chairs, sofa and armchair.
- Bedroom with hangers for your clothes, and pillows, duvets and sheets.
- Bathroom with towels, shower and washing machine, and toothpaste, shampoo, soap and toilet paper.
- Kitchen with tea everything you need to cook + coffee, tea and usually some cereal as well.
Interaction with Guests
As mentioned earlier I am always travelling when I rent out my place so I'm not usually around to meet you. I will always be within reach on my mobile phone or on email, and I will provide you with an online map of my favourite places in town when you make the reservation. There are also guide books, leaflets and maps in the apartment for you to use.
Busses run right outside the door to every part of the city. The trains and the metro is also within easy access.
Playing loud music, using the washing machine etc. is not allowed after 21 on Sundays to Fridays – and please be considerate even on weekend-nights.
My boyfriend and I cannot emphasise enough how wonderful our stay at Andrea's apartment in Copenhagen was. Before our arrival, Andrea arranged for the keys to be left somewhere which we could access easily in the morning as we had an early flight, and she allowed us to leave our suitcases in the apartment on the final day until it was time to leave as we had a late flight. The apartment was stylish, beautifully clean and had everything we needed such as shampoo, towels, coffee etc. The living room and bedroom in particular were lovely - bright and spacious.
We loved Vesterbro as a neighbourhood and could walk everywhere in the city from the apartment. Andrea also sent us a really detailed Google map with pins of all her favourite restaurants, cafes, bars, parks, sights, walks and more. This was like our bible on the trip - we followed her advice and had the best time. I'm writing this review from work having arrived back late last night, wishing so much that I was back in Copenhagen! Andrea was so accommodating and when we met her briefly on our final afternoon (as we were leaving and she had returned from her trip away) we found her to be utterly charming. Definitely stay here if you are coming to Copenhagen!
Andrea has a charming apartment in a really great area. We walked everywhere from her apartment when we didn't rent bikes and it was a great base to be located. The apartment is inviting and has all the touches of home. We loved her suggestions of places to go and we went to many of them including the delicious pizza place and some of the cool bars! Wish we could have met her but we had to leave to catch our flight. Thanks for everything!!
The appartment of Andrea is very well located close to the center. Even if Andrea wasn't there at the time we arrived, her "key delivering system" worked perfectly. The appartmnent was very clean, furnished with towels and soap, as well as some stuff for the breakfast. It has also an appreciable size, perfect for 2 people staying there. The only one negative is the bathroom, which is a bit tiny.
We had a great time in Andrea's apartment. It was in a perfect location, had everything we would need, and Andrea was a really easy and accommodating host. Would definitely recommend!
Andrea's apartment is in a really nice, central area of Copenhagen - but still away from too many touristy things. Her apartment is cozy and warm, and overall an awesome place to stay while exploring the city. Andrea was extremely helpful with feedback and suggestions about sightseeing around Copenhagen, which was especially nice around Christmas. The only caveat is how many stairs you have to walk up to get to her 5th floor apartment!
