I am renting out my beautiful apartment in Berlin's district Kreuzberg.
The flat is about 52 sqm and features 2 living rooms with a cosy couch-corner in each room. There's also a kitchen to your disponibility with everything you might need - an oven, a washing machine and a table. In the bedroom you'll find a very comfortable king-size bed. The bathroom is furnished with a very big bath tub.
An elevator is available in the house.
The apartment is located in Graefestraße, where you'll find a good choice of restaurants, cafés, bars, theaters, cinemas and different supermarkets. Hasenheide is a parc that is just close to the house - only a 1 minutes walk.
If you want to use public transportation, you're in a very good position from our house. Subway station Südstern is only a 5 minutes walk away. Subway line U7 is operating from here.
Well ... we were a little deceived by the photos and other book reviews, apart from the difficulty we had to hear Monica and the good location of the property, the apartment was very dirty, dirty bathroom, floors not swept, lanetta all around the bed, mocha with coffee inside .... shame!
We stayed in Berlin for 5 days and Monica's apartment was good for our stay. The apartment was located in nice and calm area still near (ten minute walk) all the restaurants and shops in Bergmannstrasse, Kreuzberg. Monica was very flexible when it came to checking in and out. Summing it up our stay in Monica's apartment and Berlin was very nice.
We had a lovely two days in this apartment. Monica was very helpful with directions, and flexible about our arrival and departure times. The location is convenient for central Berlin, with lots of good places to eat towards Hermannplatz.
Monica's apartment is really nice place to spend a few days while visiting Berlin. It's very clean and spaciuos with two beds and fully equipped kitchen. Despite the fact that the flat is almost in te city centre, the neighbourhood is calm and peaceful. There are a lot of resaturants and shops (like Lidl) nearby. The only small inconvenience is that there is no WiFi/WLAN net in the apartment. Beaside that, we really have enjoyed staying in the Monica's flat.
Stayed - May, 2013
Monica's place was lovely and as pretty much as described, except it was actually bigger than the photos depict. Everything around exchange of keys etc, went smoothly, and although Monica was not there to meet us on arrival, we had no problems getting in and she responded to all texts very quickly.
The balcony is a nice extra and we spent most of our time in the apartment out there as the weather was nice for our stay. The flat has everything you need, except internet access. The shower could do with a shower curtain but otherwise no complaints.
The apartment is well located for the metro and for the Kreuzberg area. There's a convenient internet cafe/mini shop and falafel place a few minutes walk away, near the metro stop if you arrive late and need something to eat and drink.
I'd happily recommend Monica's place for the Kreuzberg area!
Many thanks Monica!
Appartement simple, c'est juste pour dormir.
At a great location (edge of Kreuzberg and Neukolln) a simple and lovely apartment with a balcony. The lovely host, Monica, sent an accurate instructions of how to commute from the airport and to find the apartment. She welcomed us, at the apartment and explained patiently about the apartment and the area. All that were described in 'airbnb' and by Monica was there.
The apartment is very quiet, cozy and comfortable and good for 1-3 people. The balcony view is of trees and rooftops which is part of the apartments charm.
The building has an elevator and in a good condition.
Location is great: both Kreuzberg and Neukolln are within a walking distance and the U train station is a 8 minutes walk. The near by area has many restaurants, bars & convenient stores.
We will definitely consider coming back.
Thank you Monica.

My husband and I rented the apartment Friday-Tuesday, while visiting friends in Kreuzberg. The apartment was very lovely, and Monica was very accommodating in scheduling a time for us to pick up the keys. A great place for a couple or two friends, but would be a little cramped with more than two people. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings, and the apartment is situated in a great neighborhood with lots of cafes and bars and interesting people. I would definitely consider staying here again!
Monica's Flat was in a good location and was very convenient. Loved the powerful shower, the bed was very comfortable and the balcony offered some lovely treetop views- as the flat is on the fifth floor.
There was no indication for any of this in the house rules, so we were a bit surprised that in order to check in we would have to go to a different area in Berlin to collect the keys from one of Monica's friends. We asked her friend to take us to the flat, which was very helpful as we would not have found the place easily without his help.
The only other problem was that the bed had only a single pillow and a single duvet cover which we had to share- it was not too bad, but it would have be nice to have a double.......
