I grew up in London (UK) but have spent most of my adult life in the Pacific Northwest, with some extended stays in other parts of the world. I enjoy teaching English at a nearby community college and getting to know students from many different countries. My passion for gardening increases each year, and now have some raised beds to grow some good veggies. Other interests include hiking, being in nature, good conversation, traveling, and learning about the world as it is evolving. It's great to welcome so many interesting guests that come to stay.
