Response from Rick:

Glad you liked it. The smell is disinfectant used to sanitize the shower to help kill people germs and prevent tropical mold growth. We have found that the common bath fans are largely useless as the air flow is far too low. Hence why we have sliding glass door in our showers here.

  • Ke‘ei Beach

This is a nice sandy beach and easy ocean entry. The road in is rough and make sure your car has good ground clearance. More than one car has punctured the oil pan on high rocks. Go slow .

Great calm bay for swimming but the entry is from a shore with large round slippery rocks. If the sea is calm its ok to get in.
