Beautiful apartment, homely, artistic and unique. Good links for transport and plenty of shops and resteraunts nearby. What more can u ask for.
I think Les Sabines might be the best airbnb place we've ever stayed. The apartment was amazingly lovely. It's in a great location (if you like vibey, slightly grungy, very local, very happening surrounds). The downstairs neighbour did have an extremely loud party on one of the nights that we stayed (until 3.30am!) but as it was his 30th, I guess that doesn't happen very often. PierreGeorges list of places to eat locally was super useful, and he was very helpful. We will definitely try and stay here again on any return trip to Paris.
Do yourself a favor and STAY HERE. Look no further. Les Sabine and its host Pierre is the best that Paris has to offer. Pierre is gracious, generous, informative, and thoughtful. Everything you could want in a host. He let us know about awesome happenings around town that we wouldn't have otherwise known - he left notes and thoughtful gems for us. The neighborhood is a brilliant combination of international elements with traditional Parisian life - it offers amazing food, art, coffee, nightlife, conveniences (transportation, toiletries, groceries, etc.), live music venue, and so much more. I already set up an email notification for flight deals, for my return! The flat itself is beautiful. All three main rooms have double doors so you can watch and hear the rain or open them up to the gorgeous terrace while you play some soft music through the amazing sound system, make a cup of coffee, or enjoy some wine. You should know that there is no lift and the flat is on the 5th floor, but the stairs were a good extra little workout! This amazing home base provided the perfect foundation for the most beautiful trip to Paris I could imagine!
Pierre was incredibly responsive via email and phone when needed, the bed was very comfortable, and the balcony was a great bonus. It's a great apartment with lots of style, art, and character.
As Pierre warns, I found the wifi to be intermittent and only available in the kitchen (and only on my laptop, not phone), so you may need to budget for cell phone data if internet is critical. The wifi connection was not strong enough for (website hidden) so I had to use roaming minutes on my cell phone.
Les Sabines is super stylish and in a great location. Very comfy bed and helpful information about local amenities. It is at the top of five flights of stairs so not for the faint hearted but its height makes it quiet and the balcony is great for looking out over the street life. Our one niggle would be that it would have been nice to have more space to hang our clothes but overall the flat is clean, in a good location and felt good value for money. Also Pierre Georges was very attentive - checking we had arrived OK and found everything. Much appreciated! :)
The reservation was canceled 64 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Beautiful apartment full of interesting objects to delight and amuse. Host was very friendly and welcoming and had an awesome booklet about where to eat/what to do/how to work the coffee machine and other points of relevance and interest. Very thoughtful indeed. Stay here for a slice of real Paris life! Stairs a-plenty, but worth it to get above the hubbub - it's a very relaxing flat to come home to.

Bonjour / Hello / Hola,
Long inscribed to Cou*ch Surf*ing (check out on www**cou*ch surf*ing**org/people/pitfeuil/), I feel confortable with the AirBnB concept... Especially if it can make my banker face to turn in a grin and support my projects.
I'm traveling frequently, and more, and more... Discovering other cultures, challenging mine in the context of travel is my thrill.
But there's something I even like more which is : returning to Paris. Enjoying the streets and french way-of-life - which necessarily implies good wine and food.
I will soon be leaving Paris more frequently for my small around-the-world adventures, and will rent my nice and cosy place from time to time. I also plan to be an AirBnB user during travels.
See you here, there, or simply in Paris !
