We had a wonderful stay at "Les Sabines"! The place is beautiful. Well decorated, great mix of old world details and new furnishings. The bed was extremely comfortable. The terrace is huge! Wonderful to sit out on at night. Large bathroom, great shower, full kitchen, only 10 minutes from the Gare du Nord. Our only issue was that there was no wifi. Pierre did offer to come by and set up a 3G hotspot for us, but since we spent most of our time out and about, this was not a big issue. All in all we absolutely loved our stay! Would definitely stay again!

Pierre's apartment was everything promised on the Airbnb site. Roomy and beautifully presented. Street facing but no street noise. Fantastic vibrant neighbourhood close to transport and great bars and restaurants. Extensive balcony catches the late sun and comes complete with hammock. Pierre was a perfect host who quickly responded to our needs.

Loved the place! Pierre's apartment is full of character and charm. Staying in it added a very nice aspect to the vacation in Paris. Pierre is very welcoming, generous and cool about his place. If the fifth floor is not a problem (no elevator), We would highly recommend the place. It is spacious, comfortable, clean and offers many artistic and vintage details in it's design and accessories. The location is good, allowing quick access to the Metro station and close enough to walk to the city center. You would find anything you need right under the apartment: supermarkets, bars, coffee shops, fast food etc. We had a great time and would love to stay there again next time. Thank you Pierre!

I had a wonderful stay at Pierre's apartment. The flat is gorgeous with a generous living space/kitchen and bathroom. Most importantly it was incredibly clean and cozy when I arrived, meaning I was able to settle in right away. My favourite thing about the apartment was the balcony - which I would actually call a terrace. It's at least 3-4 times the usual size for a balcony in Paris, with space to walk around, a table, a bench - and even an outdoor heater. Each room in the apartment also opens out to this balcony, making it really light and airy. The only thing - the five flights of stairs, but you do get used to it. This is also not that unusual for a Parisian flat so it wasn't that much of an issue really. The area - a 10 min walk from gare du nord - is located in a pretty multicultural area of paris which means there is a diversity of food - but also food that is not incredibly expensive. It also took me about 15 mins to walk to Chatalet - and about 20 mins to the Seine - which means it's pretty centrally located. Lastly, Pierre himself was lovely. we never got to meet but he was very helpful with instructions and always on the other end of the telephone. I even accidentally took a spare key home back to England and he was so kind about it - and not at all annoyed at me - and just asked me to post it back at my convenience. I would definitely recommend a stay at Pierre's apartment - and would stay there again the next time I am back!

Pierre's apt is in 10th arrondissement and close to 3rd arrondissements. It's a good location close to all major attractions. One block away from the metro station. It's very artistic decor with functional and practical kitchen, shower and bathroom. What I like the most are the balcony, overlook the Rue du Faubourg Saint Denis on the 5th floor. Still remember the time I woke up in the morning and before sunset just sat there enjoyed myself. Downstair in a block, there are almost 10 cafes where every morning I could grab a coffee and croissant and at night had a cocktail. Many restaurants, bakery, grocery store right down the street. It was my first time traveled by myself internationally, this apt is pretty comfortable and big for one person and I have plenty of rooms. A few days before I arrived, the host emailed and messaged me to arrange everything, and by the time I arrived there's a sweet brochure to tell the guest all kinds of info (be careful about what, restaurants recommendations, etc). Overall, it's a great experience and even though there was little problem with the WIFI, but the Pierre had been very supportive and helpful to try to fix it.
