Vintage & repurposed finds make this space unique with modern upscale amenities and appliances. This cozy cool industrial space is the perfect place to wind down & get cozy after a day of exploring WNY!

The barn is located just outside of the Perry entrance of Letchworth State Park- walking distance! We have a scenic view of Letchworth State Parks’ High banks!

The space
The West Barn is an industrial Morton style barn that has been brought back to life as an industrial, yet cozy living space. Green is what gives us Hygge in the West Barn, so you will find sprinkles of green throughout. I've heard a range of feedback describing the space including "eclectic, historic and vintage all at the same time", to "old world European feel". We want your initial reaction to be OMG & immediately learn the meaning of hygge when you arrive.

Thermal glass paned garage doors make up the entire East view- making for exceptional sunrises everyday! You pick- doors up or down! On a warm day, it's a treat to have the doors up for an open air concept.

The view of the East lawn also leads to the pasture where you will more often than not, find Cappuccino our miniature cow grazing with her bff, water Buffalo Indy! You may greet them at the green gate with a slice of bread (one per day, please!) and they will soon become your bff's...
Potpot & Hazel (our potbelly pigs) are on the North side of the property and are happy to nibble on your compost or any other vegetarian snacks you offer them!
Carrot & Cottontail are the resident bunnies & the ladies at the Chick-INN will provide you with fresh eggs daily (seasonal only!

The dining & living areas face out to the east and are filled with unique vintage finds from all over Western NY! Upcycled windows and doors make up the living room accent wall- giving opportunity for the perfect Instagrammable photo ops. The vintage green trunk has games for a rainy day & the island is stocked with cookbooks if you prefer to find a new favorite recipe while away!

The garage doors give you the opportunity to enjoy the amazing views with them lifted for an open air concept should you choose!

Chefs kitchen!! Modern top of the line Kitchen aid appliances, along with a fully stocked kitchen make for preparing meals while staying a breeze! The dreamy floating shelves, kitchen island, counter tops and sink bases were all hand made by an area craftsman.

Behind the giant yellow barn doors you will find the laundry room- you are welcome to utilize this during your stay as needed- detergent and softener is always fully stocked.

A Television is provided- there are not local channels or cable- but it is a smart TV, so you can utilize our Netflix/Hulu account, or your own if that is your preference.

Wifi is available via frontier.

We've got a gorgeous green chippy desk that has loads of space if you need to work while away! There is room for a computer and accessible outlets.

The North bedroom features a king bed with down bedding and a loft sitting area! The loft has seating for two and also provides a 'lofty' view into the living room and allows the morning sun into the room. It's the perfect space for some quiet time or getting cozy with your favorite book!

The West bedroom includes a lifted queen bed and gives you all the shabby chic vibes you could ever want! Sliding green doors open into a private bathroom that showcases a large green glass tile shower with double shower heads and a deep basin sink. Our 1900's Apothecary cabinet also makes it's home in this bathroom. Turn on the provided essential oil diffuser, close your eyes and transport yourself right to the spa! Plush towels provided.

The main bathroom is across the hall from the king suite and is the communal restroom of the place. This bathroom features the most amazing 13' door. While 13' does not sound like much, wait until you see it in person and you literally need to tip your head back to see the top! The door
was custom made by a local expert craftsman, after my husband had the wild idea of NEEDING a 13' door- it's perfect! This bathroom features a soaking tub with luxury bubble bath, along with two 12" rainfall shower heads nestled into the "wet area"- which in our case translates into an incredibly large shower! You won't find another like it! Plush towels & bathroom joke book provided.

The view- unmatched amazing views of the Letchworth Highbanks every season of the year. If you do nothing else during your stay- set your alarm for a sunrise (or request a wake up text). You will be so pleased that you did!

There is a designated fire pit area in front of the barn. Firewood is available for purchase from a local high school student. If you pre order, we can have it waiting for you upon arrival. The cost is $10 for 2 bundles. This service is available seasonally until October.

The barn is located on the back side of the RW How property. We ask that guests use the outer loop driveway only and do not utilize the driveway that runs next to the Rw How Haus. Please respect other guests that may be staying at the main house, or other barn space and they will do the same for you!

The space is intended and priced for 4 guests.
If you wish to bring up to 6guests, please enquire about additional costs and sleeping arrangements.

Mowing occurs on Thursday or Friday - please know that the landscaping crew will be in/out on property if your stay falls on these days.

New in spring 2022:: an additional space in the West Barn! Each space will have its own private entrance & we are creating a private fire area so that you feel at home and disconnected from the other west barn space.

We are located on a quiet road in Perry, Ny- just up the street from the Perry Entrance of Letchworth State Park! Do not put Letchworth State Park into your GPS- it will take you to the Castile entrance. Simply turn left out the driveway, count to 20 and you are in Letchworth!

Perry is a lovely quaint little town that has really started to come back to life in the last 5 years! We LOVE Perry Main street- especially in the summer on a Saturday morning! It really comes alive and you can visit the market, along with the shops!
Perry has it’s own Wine bar- @rationwine, along with a brewery @silverlakebrewingproject!

While Letchworth is surely the highlight of our area, we are also home to Silver lake which is only about 5 minutes from the barn! You can enjoy Perry Public Beach, the kiddie water park at the park, Silver lake State Park, Silver Lake Marina (boat and paddle board rentals) or Silver Lake Country Club!

My husband and I live in Perry, Ny! I am an event planner + hostess, my husband is a dairy farmer.
We host at our four spaces- three overlooking Letchworth State Park, and the other on Silver Lake.

We enjoy living in the countryside, just around the corner from the farm.
On the weekend we like to go hiking & take in the sights of Letchworth State Park & surrounding areas. Visiting small town main streets is one of our favorite pastimes!
Memorial day weekend is my personal favorite at the park- Letchworth hosts the Hot Air Balloon festival and it is surely a sight to be seen!

We also enjoy taking advantage of Silver Lake which is only a 5 minute drive from the RW HOW properties & home of the Silver Lake Haus!
We pride ourselves in offering a unique, boutique experience with all the comforts of home- PLUS!
