Custom-crafted tiny house on the Peninsula overlooking a bay. Watch seals swim, heron hunt and eagles soar. Rain or shine, spend the day kayaking on the calm water and return to the house to star-gaze from the outdoor tub. Explore the Olympic National Park and the nearby state parks including Belfair and Twanoh parks from here.

The space
Grapeview is a hidden gem and we want to share our space with you. The tiny house is built on a two-parcel property with an established art studio and primary normal-sized house. Privacy screens and plants help keep the space private at the same time not isolated scary. You’ll hear seals at night, see heron hunt for fish, smell oysters when the tides recede, and laugh at otters running on mud.
High ceiling makes this 130 square foot tiny house feel big! Windows and two sets of French doors maximize natural lighting. Patio inspires endless picnics. Make s’mores around the fire pit (when there is no fire ban). Outdoor soaking tub is great for star gazing. When you need a fresh perspective, walk down to the beach and take the kayaks out to explore the peninsula. Work from here with high speed fiber optic internet. The house is equipped with basic cooking equipment including a portable electric stove, mini smart toaster oven that you can bake bread in, microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge/freezer for your cooking needs. There is cooking oil, salt, pepper and coffee.
We are travelers like you and try to make this a unique experience like what we hope for ourselves. This space continues to improve because of guest feedback. Please don’t hesitate to send suggestions and ask questions. We would love to hear from you.

We love this place so much that we want to share it with guests. The tiny house is a part of a two-parcel property. As guests you’ll see an artist studio up the hill and normal-sized house, all of which share a beach path and kayaks. Plants, privacy screens and trees provide privacy. Guests can expect to see other people out enjoying the view and water, depending on the weather.

Wanderer at heart. I spend many hours strategizing on how to zip in and out of places with the smallest backpack. My new challenge is crossing climate zones with a 25L pack. Life is good when my packing list includes a hammock, sleeping bag and a hat. As much as I love globe trotting, I am a homemaker. I experience so much joy in baking bread, grinding meat for sausages, chopping wood, installing gutters and cleaning the roof.

We live on the adjacent lot and will be happy to help with anything you may need during your stay. We would love to be social and meet you, and we will leave it up to you how much interaction you'd like from us. We want to respect your privacy and time during your stay.
