A unique pyramidal structure tree house overlooking a beautiful garden pond has views of the Burren mountains.
Contains one double futon. Bathroom is in a sidehouse which has beautiful marble tiles and currently the only lighting is by candle . It's a bit like camping so be prepared for lots of early birds in the morning singing all around outside.
There is electricity in the treehouse but no cooking facility but you could barbeque on the balcony , otherwise the guest house is available for cooking and dining.
. I am 0.8 mile from the village bus stop..but there is a sidewalk all the way....All buses will pick you up from directly outside my house...But for drop off you will need to let the driver know when you get on the bus and then that will be fine also.....see what you think..
(As you may gather I have 3 Airbnb listings but understand that they are all the same property : that's just the way Airbnb works ! )
The best way method to contact me is via the Airbnb messages [ not e-mail] also ... once you confirm the booking you will have my cell phone (handy) number ; talk or text

We stayed in Ronan's Tree House and it was wonderful. It was within walking distance of the village and we had a fantastic view of the countryside. Ronan was very helpful and even made us pizza in his brick oven the first evening. He was very accommodating and we would definitely recommend staying here!
Thank-you Ronan for a lovely stay in your Tree-house on Saturday night. We arrived quite late but Ronan cheerfully awaited us, showed us where everything was and left us with the message "if you need anything, ask me! " We loved exploring the garden next morning - very cool!
My husband and I spent one evening in the tree house at Ronan's Cottage on our way through to Dublin. What a cool and unique environment! Ronan was very welcoming and accommodating to us. There was a warm fire in the living room of the cottage and clean bath and bed linens waiting for us when we arrived. We really appreciated being able to stay one evening, even though we would have like to stay longer!
Really nice experience with Ronan's Tree house, it remember us the time we were child and we were building tree house.
I was impressed by the job he realised. So, Ronan's please keep going on this way, we had good and original experience.
Otherwise, the location is good, not so far from main attractions : Burren, Cliffs of Mother, and there is a nice Market in Kinvara if like me you like good food ( Cheese, Chorizo from Cork, Mozzarella di buffala from Ireland, Cashel blu etc)
Moreover, Ronan's is really kind person, and really helpfull.
So don't hesitate, book it you won't regret !

We had a really nice stay in the treehouse at the garden of Ronan´s Cottage. He´s a nice guy who always is attempting to meet someone´s wish. Thanks for all, we would come again! Kind regards!
Great set up at Romans cottage as we enjoyed his tree house room which was surrounded by a beatiful garden.Only a short walk to a quite town with all your needs highly recommend to anyone.
We stayed one night at the tree house. It was a great experience, a very special place. It is a very private place in Ronan's lovely garden. We took the chance to try the hammock and the swing in the garden. We did not met Ronan, but instead Isabel took care of us. It is just a short way out of Kinvara town, which is a nice town on the coast. Because the breakfast was not included, we could not review about. But in Kinvara we found a café, where we had a delicious start the in day.
Ronan's Tree House was one of the most unusual places we stayed on our recent trip to (website hidden) is essentially a "solid tent" constructed on an 8-10 foot high platform, with a door and a window. The whole thing is well sealed and was warm, dry, and comfortable, even though it rained during the night when we stayed there. The Tree House is electrified and contains a reading light and electrical fixtures. Guests have the use of a shower and toilet adjoining the main house and the lounge and kitchen there as well. The property contains beautiful gardens, a fish pond, and many other interesting projects, some finished, some under construction. Guests looking for something out of the ordinary will not be disappointed. Ronan was actually overseas during our brief stay, but had made arrangements with Isabel to welcome us, and she was most helpful and friendly.
Upon our trip to Ireland, this had been our first booking. I thought how cool, we can stay in a tree house in Ireland. My partner and I were really looking forward to our stay and meeting Ronan.
A few days in we contacted our host to confirm a check in time. We received a timely reply but it was from a woman watching the house while Ronan was away. I had been looking forward to meeting him as so many people raved about his home and hospitality.
When we arrived we were greeted by a young woman and taken directly to the tree house. She then from afar explained where the bathroom was outside and that we could use a few rooms in the house. She scurried off and we weren't quite sure where everything was. When we made our way into the house I went to find the young woman to ask again where the bathroom was. She showed us and told us we could not access the bathroom upstairs because someone wanted it to themselves. We were allowed to use another bathroom in the house but when we asked to see it another girl who was watching the house was busy using it so we were never able to see it..or know where it was. Into the night we were awoken at about 1:30 am to a drunk man being loud in the backyard. My partner got up and walked out and the drunk guy made a remark that this was their backyard..he was with one of the women watching the house. It was inappropriate especially because we were sleeping in the backyard and there were booze bottles everywhere. We awoke in the AM and wanted to get an early start. No linens had been provided. We went to find the hosts but the part of the house they were staying in was closed off. We took it upon ourselves to search for towels. We had rented it our for two nights but decided to just stay for one. I felt like I was back in college, wakening to drunk people and finding pixie dust all over the floor in the house. The bread that was made for guests was gone....anyways that was our experience. Perhaps it would have been different if Ronan was there.
