A unique pyramidal structure tree house overlooking a beautiful garden pond has views of the Burren mountains.
Contains one double futon. Bathroom is in a sidehouse which has beautiful marble tiles and currently the only lighting is by candle . It's a bit like camping so be prepared for lots of early birds in the morning singing all around outside.
There is electricity in the treehouse but no cooking facility but you could barbeque on the balcony , otherwise the guest house is available for cooking and dining.
. I am 0.8 mile from the village bus stop..but there is a sidewalk all the way....All buses will pick you up from directly outside my house...But for drop off you will need to let the driver know when you get on the bus and then that will be fine also.....see what you think..
(As you may gather I have 3 Airbnb listings but understand that they are all the same property : that's just the way Airbnb works ! )
The best way method to contact me is via the Airbnb messages [ not e-mail] also ... once you confirm the booking you will have my cell phone (handy) number ; talk or text

Ronan was out of town while I visited but he arranged to have another guest (long term guest) greet me and assist with everything. The treehouse is fantastic and exactly as described. I don't have much to offer that hasn't already been said, but id definitely stay again without hesitation. If you want a unique experience in a great part of Ireland this is it!!
Friendly, helpful, kind and thoughtful...in a beautiful location
Great !!!! Original house !
RonAn is cool ! Hand home made home !
We had a great stay at the Treehouse, it was clean nd comfortable. Ronan is really a special host and was very friendly with tips for destinations around.
our stay was great, the weather brilliant and ronan is a lovely bloke, calm and going out of his way to make all three of us welcome. we got there about 6pm, met ronan who showed us around. we had use of the kitchen and lounge, enjoyed abit of homemade bread he left for us and then went out for a meal.
on return ronan had a lovely warm fire waiting for us. we went to bed early to make the most of the experience in the treehouse (not every day you sleep in one is it?).
we woke up, about 9am, leaned over to open the small door, to reveal glorious sunshine, birds singing and blue skies. it was stunning weather and it made the whole stay much more enjoyable. my little one wandered off somewhere in the garden while her mum and dad showered. as the other guests had gone, ronan said we could use the showers inside, which we did, instead of the outside one we had.
the rooms inside were nice, open and without a hallway.different from your basic hotel, they had a warmer feel. we then had a small breakfast and spent the next three hours relaxing in the lovely garden taking a few photos.
our little one went on the small boat in the pond, it's tiny but for a kid, great enjoyment. we lazed in the hammock (my favourite) and then we all took turns to relax in the swing made from an upside down tree.
both of us adults really loved it, but my 7 year old was in her own world taking in everything that was different to normality. she absolutely loved it. so any parent who wants to surprise their kid with an age of between 4 and 10 i reckon, this would be a top treat and you would definitely be in the good books.
ronan said that almost all people that had stayed there in the treehouse were adults which surprised me, but i can definitely can see the attraction if you know what i mean.
overall, fantastic stay, hope to do it again next summer maybe.
What a fun stay at the treehouse! There were some concerns about not being warm enough in mid-September BUT we were perfectly cozy! There were enough blankets to stay comfy & warm & the mattress was really nice. You have to be willing to traipse through the yard to the bathroom & shower by candlelight (at night) but it was quite the positive experience. The shower got nice & hot which was a surprise & showering by candles was really lovely & different. Ronan himself is a character, having built the entire place from a blank slate to the beauty it is today. He is a visionary & it was really special to share life with him & another couple that were staying there. We shared a meal & drinks & hours of talking. Perfect break from the "norm" of traveling that can be so rushed, on the contrary, this was a relaxed & unique time!
The atmosphere at Ronan's was informal and relaxed - we had a great time. It's quirky and Ronan is a very accommodating and singular host.
We stayed for 2 nights in Ronan's treehouse.
It was a verry special experience!
We like it verry much and slept Well.
When we arrived, hey invites us to join him to eat pizza.
Ronan is a Nice person and is a real handyman.

We spent three marvelous nights in the tree house, it was fantastic! Ronan is very welcoming and caring. His cottage is an unique place to stay. In kinvara you can really relax and enjoy little things of life. The countryside is stunning and Ronan is well located if you wish to discover more about the Clare county.
Very special place to stay! It's a little bit more luxurious than camping and you wake up with the birds. We were lucky we had a sunny morning; enjoying the garden view in the sun while having breakfast. There were no guests in the house, so we could use the bathroom inside, This bathroom was warmer and more convenient than the treehouse one.
