About this listing
Welcome to my lovely Wimbledon home, perfect for the Tennis and visiting London.
When you stay with me this is your home for the length of your stay.
I have a lovely summer house in my large garden, which is perfect for the Summer. Traditionally they were built as a sheltered refuge from the heat of the day, or in the case of husbands/wives looking for a bit of switch-off time, a perfect place to curl up with a book and a glass of wine, sketch or listen to music .
The summer house (which has electricity) has a small double bed with a bedside table and lamp, and a small wardrobe, with an oak table (mini fridge/tea & coffee facilities) and two wicker armchairs, and can accomodate up to 2 guests, as long as you don't have a lot of luggage! It is a fun option for staying in London.
I have also had a guest staying this January when it was snowing who was very happy and booked again for a return visit. Heating and electric underblanket did the job well, so as that option is now available, then it will no longer have to be a "summer" house:)
*** Fresh towels and linen provided ***
*** Wi-fi internet ***
Help-yourself breakfast, if wished, as well as tea and coffee throughout the day, is included in the price.
Guests will need to use the shared bathroom in the house, which has a loo, bath, bidet and shower. There is also another separate loo with a wash basin.
Wimbledon is a charming and peaceful area, although it also has a vibrant night-life. For those interested in the Arts, there is plenty on offer here. It is the perfect place to stay in London and a stone's throw from everything. It has easy access to shops, restaurants and transport. I am very close to Wimbledon Tube station, with great connections into Central London. I can also arrange parking permits for a small fee.
I look forward to hearing from you.
All will be explained upon arrival.
