The studio was ok. Unfortunately, the pictures online in the advertisement were a little deceiving. The pictures made it look a little more charming and decorated than it was. The bathroom is TINY, and I honestly wish it had been pictured as well in the advertisement. The flooring in the room is a little uncomfortable to walk on barefoot, so bring slippers.
There is no AC, and the room got really stuffy even with both fans on. There is also a coffee maker and what appears to be an espresso maker, but oddly enough, she told me (after checking in and only when I asked) that they do not provide coffee, so bring your own if you want coffee.
Communication with Shaye could have been a lot better. I messaged her 3 different times through the Air BnB app after booking (once a couple of months after booking and twice two days prior to our arrival) and had to call her twice and leave a voicemail before she ever contacted me back. She finally text me via the # that was provided on the Air BnB app. Even then, I had to ask 30 minutes prior to check in what the check in instructions were because she hadn't told us yet. In the past, most people we have rented Air BnBs from have been much better about communicating and gave us check in instructions 24-48 hours prior to check in. Once we checked in, she would text me almost immediately with a response to any question asked, so that was nice.
Unfortunately, I think it's WAY over priced for what we got. We stayed in a Marriott a few hours north of Montecito earlier in the week, and we paid way less for something a lot nicer than what we experienced staying here. Her place was clean, and the bed was comfortable, but I wouldn't waste your money staying here.
