Where you’ll be

Wintergreen Resort, Virginia, United States

The mountain is typically very quiet and serene but you can occasionally hear others enjoying the nearby properties. There are several restaurants and shops located at the main Wintergreen lodge, about a 10 minute walk away. Don’t underestimate the deli options and groceries available at The Market, located on-mountain and just a few minutes away by car. Just down the hill are several breweries and cideries, including Devil’s Backbone and Bold Rock Cidery.

Please observe bear-safe practices, especially during summer and fall. Black bears are known to forage through trash and even open car doors looking for a quick snack! Locking cars when not in use, keeping trash inside until taking it to the drop-off, and locking the property’s door after coming in are good practices to ensure that both your family and the wildlife are safe, happy, and healthy.
