Great vacation, wonderful house just as we expected, our hosts were kind and friendly.
We had a wonderful time at the cottage. It was super charming, both the house itself, the outside area and the interior. It's in a great location if you want to visit both beaches and mountain areas. It's also a bit cooler than by the coast if you are worried about the heat in summer. My favorite part was dining on the lush patio underneath the vines.
K.a. and her husband were great at communicating and giving recommendations. We're already talking about going back. :)
We had a wonderful stay in this house. It is very pretty, very nicely furnished and has a wonderful small garden. Excellent communication with Ka and her husband - always a prompt reply. We highly recommend a holiday in this beautiful house. Enjoy!!
We spent a lovely week in this house in April and it suited our family group of six people (3 adults and 3 children). The house is generally well appointed (although a few staples such as toilet paper and laundry soap were lacking), and there is a beautiful terrace with a dining table that is probably a great place to dine when the weather is warm. Magagnosc is a small hamlet close to Grasse and about a half hour from the coast. There is a great pizzeria walking distance to the house and a couple boulangeries that are 10-15 minutes walking distance, too. A grocery store is 5 minutes by car. This is a central location for visiting many sites, villages and coastal areas in Provence.
I spent a wonderful week over the new year at Ka's property and it was lovely. The view is wonderful, the house is beautiful, the weather was fantastic (even in the winter!) and the region is, as I remember it, a beautiful combination of mountains and sea.
I was slightly taken aback when asked to sign an inventory (this is the first time I've ever been asked to do that for an airbnb!) and by the request to pay the heating bill on top of the rate. Nonetheless Ka is a very nice and welcoming host.
I would definitely recommend this Airbnb.
Hello Bénédicte, first of all thank you very much for your nice and positive recommendation. Concerning the inventory (it's completely normal, and I have to do it for such a big house with furniture). Concerning the heating, it's written in the add: heating in winter on counter. (It's rarely more than 6,-euros/week and if I don't do it, people might just heat without taking care...)
Thanks again for your stay. Best regards, Ka
We are an "old" traveller couple: bagpacking all around the world.... and we found the best place to live: the côte d'azur!
We love the very special light here, specially in wintertime, the nature in all its variety, the climate which is so healthy and the quality of the air (reason why Queen Victoria used to come to Grasse)....
Our house is a very "customized" place which will make you feel like in a private home and not just anywhere.
We love to meet people from all over the world to exchange. It's a continous pleasure of discovering cultures.
