Richard and Robin were very hospitable. I had a lovely time staying in their Los Robles home. Their home, like Savannah, is charming and warm. I would recommend.
We were welcomed by Richard and Robert at the front door upon check-in and were given the tour of their beautiful home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with them from their excellent recommendations on dining options in Savannah to their delightful continental breakfast every morning. We had many laughs around the dining room table over coffee and enjoyed getting to know the other guests.
We highly recommend Los Robles home while staying in Savannah and hope to be back again.
I would recommend Los Robles to anyone visiting the Savannah area. It was an easy walk to downtown, and there are coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Our hosts made us feel welcome, and the room was comfortable. Also, the bathroom was just redone. The breakfast was another special touch. Everything was exactly what we wanted for a relaxing Savannah get- away.
For our three year anniversary, my boyfriend and I went to Savannah, Georgia for the first time and stayed at Los Robles. Initial communication with Richard and the overall experience of booking a room was effortless and very professional. Upon our arrival at the airport, Richard was there to pick us up and drive us to the house (which saved us the trouble of getting a cab.) During the drive back to the house, Richard drove us around the historic district and gave us a very nice overview of the landmarks and the history of Savannah. Richard's knowledge on Savannah is impeccable and I encourage everyone to learn from him.
Los Robles is a beautiful house surrounded by oak trees located south of Forsyth Park. The room that we stayed in was very elegant and everything was neat and tidy for our arrival. In addition to Richard's recommendations, he also included multiple brochures and a list of restaurants for us in the room. Before venturing out to the historic district, Richard kindly made sure to give us a map. His attentiveness and thoughtfulness is exceptional.
In the morning, breakfast consisted of a colorful arrays of fruits, tea, coffee, orange juice, milk, muffins, jams, and cereals. Everything was elegantly setup for us in the dining room adorned with exquisite china and silverware. We joined Richard for breakfast twice and conversations with him were always interesting and pleasant.
Towards the end of our trip, Richard offered to give us a unique tour of Savannah and we are especially glad that we took him up on it. Some of the destination on the tour included the Isle of Hope, The Wormsloe Historic Site, and the Bonaventure Cemetery. On the day of our flight back, Richard took us to the airport and saw us off.
Overall, I would say that my experience staying at Los Robles was nothing less than perfect and I would recommend it to anyone who plans on visiting Savannah. Our time at Los Robles and in Savannah will always be memorable due to the beauty of the house itself and the hospitality of our hosts.
Robert and Richard were gracious hosts. The place is wonderful and very well maintained. It's a historic monument in itself with such interesting artifacts there. Its quite close to Forsyth Park and easy to walk around place.
Even though we were delayed by few hours, they happily checked us in. We had no problem coming in and going out at our leisure. The bedroom/bathroom were comfortable and perfect.
All in all, definitely a recommendation!
