East is the more creative neighbourhood of Amsterdam. Great area with a lot of coffee places, great bars and original shops.
All we ask for is to consider the neigbours.
The apartment was really conveniently located near the tram station and easy to access the city sights. Apartment was clean and looked just like the pictures. They even had a new outdoor terrace in the back to sit outside for a drink.
Everything about our stay in Suzan's apartment was great. She was very easy to communicate with and made it easy for us to arrive and to find the apartment. It is in a great location, on a calm street close to the city center that is well served by trams (3 different lines). In the neighborhood there are numerous cafés, bars, restaurants and grocery stores. The apartment itself was spacious, bright, comfortable and has a fantastic terrace out back to enjoy the good weather. Suzan even left us some beer in the fridge and lent us a bike during our stay! I would highly recommend staying in Suzan's apartment.
We stayed at Suzan's house for 3 nights in May'15. A lovely Amsterdam house; beautifully designed and has a nice terrace. The location is very central, just few tram stops to city centre or 5-6 min.s by bike. The street looks pretty. Quiet neighbourhood. Apartment was tidy and clean, there's enough equipment for cooking and has a nice bathroom. Unfortunately we could not meet Suzan, we arrived later than planned due to a delay of our train, and she had to catch her own train. She was very kind to leave a bottle of wine to welcome us. We'd recommend to anyone and would love to stay again when we visit Amsterdam!
We (four girls) really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It's is in a good distance (about 15 minutes by bike) from the city centre. We think the apartment is really comfortable for four people to stay and the bathroom, living room and bedroom are super nice! As a little extra, we were welcomed with a little snack and a bottle of wine waiting for us on the dining table. Even though we didn't get to meet Suzan, she always responded very quickly when there were questions and also made sure we got everything we needed to have an awesome vacation.
We'd definitely book it again!
Suzan has been very helpful with transport guides and tips. The apartment is nice and clean. Love the decor! Would definitely recommend!
Nice, quiet neighbourhood. People around were nice; there's a really good Turkish restaurant near by. Close to Central station. Apartment was nice and clean.
About the Host, Suzan
We are a young couple that love to travel a lot. I'm (Suzan) Dutch, and Mark is English. We met in Australia and after traveling for 8 months we moved to Amsterdam together. When we found out about air B&B we've loved the concept and wanted to give it a try ourselves.
Since we still go on a lot of trips we have an empty house a lot, why not rent it out to a person that wants to come and check out amazing Amsterdam! And also, we love to experience it the other way around by staying in other peoples houses too while we travel the world.
Hope to see you soon!
