For travelers who find comfort in a home with pets, and a 'foodie' host, this queen size bed room with its own exclusive bathroom, awaits you on the 'Deep South' coast. Speedy wifi, UPS and gas hob make load shedding easy! Wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread and take an easy stroll or bicycle ride along the coast exploring the buzz of beachfront shops and cafés, or jump into the many outdoor activities on offer - mountain hikes, surfing, SUP and kitesurfing Adventure abounds!

The space
Wake up to the aroma of freshly baked sourdough bread in the morning. Delicious breakfasts & dinners on request. Flexitarian, vegetarian and vegan friendly.
Children's books, crafts box and a few games on offer.
Pleasant and safe short walks within the complex through the conservation areas and Bird Sanctuary wetland right next door to the flat. Two large swimming pools within the estate and the use of a bicycle to get around locally.
Gorgeous views from the back garden deck, where I do yoga on calm summer mornings.
Sunrise Beach is across the road and Muizenberg and Surfer's Corner are a nice walk away.

Guest access
You will be sharing the entire space with your host, but you will have exclusive use of your room and en-suite bathroom.
There is an extra room for a third guest with a shared bathroom if required,(although a separate listing so please enquire). Also suitable for two children to share the extra room with parents in the main en-suite bedroom.

During your stay
I enjoy interaction with guests when appropriate and free and prefer sharing meals with lively conversation to eating alone. However, I also respect that we all need me time and our own ‘space’ and love my guests to do their own thing.

Other things to note
The apartment is across the road from Sunrise Beach, which is across the estuary of what forms part of Sandvlei Nature Reserve, an extension of Muizenberg Beach. There is a path to the beach through the dunes, which is a 5 minute walk away from the gated estate.
There are two beautiful, large swimming pools in the estate. One is for adults only and the other, family friendly.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
There is a self service laundry on site. You will require R5 coins for both washing machine and dryer.
We have 24 hour security patrols, and a guardhouse and boom entrance through which there is no unauthorised entrance..
You will need a driver's license and valid car license for scanning if you are driving. Our friendly security staff will then call me to authorise your access into the complex. Please be respectful to them, they do an excellent job keeping us and our belongings safe.

Muizenberg is a World renown destination for surfers, kitsurfers and SUPs. Everything is within walking distance; Shops, beaches, restaurants, pubs and more. There are a number of historical sites, beautiful mountain hikes and a lot of the architecture is Victorian and art deco, if that's your thing. The people are colourful, multi cultural and rather bohemian in flavour. The beach is a Blue Flag beach and you can walk for miles along the coastline!
