We look forward to hosting you!
We liked the location very much, within walking distance to Lincoln Center. We knew the studio would be small and basic- and it was. However, we did not expect to be without a tv ("the cable box got wet a few days ago"), nor did we expect the lack of supplies- not enough toilet paper or towels for our 5 days and near empty bottles of bathroom soap and dish soap. There were half-consumed items in the fridge. The communication was poor (emails unanswered before our arrival) and nothing done about the tv, despite several attempts at speaking with them. We left after 2 days and were very happy to get a refund for the days not used from Airbnb. One other disconcerting thing- we were asked by our host to say were their "friends," should anyone ask. Not a great experience.
The apartment is very well located, has good distribution but their maintenance is terrible (the TV did not work, the table was broken, etc). With bad weather we had to plug holes in the window so that heat is retained. What's worse is that no one showed his face. Chris and Jose never appeared, greeted by a family who suggested that if anyone asked, we said we were family. No one replied to our messages or respond to our question about what to do so just withdraw, leave the key under the mat entrance. Definitely not recommended.
Great location, broken table, smelly sheets, on an off electricity, nice host, good value.
Such a great place to stay & close to everything we wanted to see (Central Park, Times Square, shopping & restaurants, subway stations).
Chris was very helpful - will definitely be recommending this place to others!
Communication inexistent, they NEVER get your calls and they don't call you back... Check in really uncomfortable! The apt is cold and the heater js so loud that we woke up during the night! Tv and table broken.. We definitely DON'T RECOMMEND this place!
My boyfriend and I spent christmas holidays in NY in this apartment. Chris decided the hour of check-in but we were 1hour and half waiting, in the street under the rain for someone to bring the keys. The worst thing was that Chris didn't answer to our calls during that time, and the days later we didn't have any contact with him. Terrible communication, terrible check-in. We found an apartment dirty, dishes dirty, table broken, and there's not couch. So the pictures doesn't show the real studio.
The best things was the position, very good to move easily in Manhattan. We don't recommend this host.
It was a New York studio in a great location. Location is key with me and It was only two flights of stairs and was quiet. Very basic, and if I wasn't handy, I may have had some problems. I never saw Chris and was let it by someone else. I was uneasy leaving the key under the mat upon check out, but all turned out fine.
Great location, walking distance from Broadway. Apartment has everything you need. Check-in process could be smoother.
great location clean flat nice people. would definitely stay here again!!
