My stay was JJ was great! She was kind, welcoming, and helpful. She gave me some great tips with my search for apartments and things to do around the area. We worked opposite hours so I didn't see her very much but when she was around she was a pleasure. The room looks just like it's advertised. The area is quite and safe. The building is a very short walk to the 18th st subway with trains to Manhattan. This was my first time staying at in a room from Airbnb and JJ set the bar pretty high.
My stay in JJ's room was great. The room is small, but comfortable. It doesn't have natural light, though. The area was safe. I arrived late some nights and didn't have any problems. A bit far from Manhattan, although well communicated through subway, which was close. It took about 40 min. to get to Times Square. The area itself doesn't have many things to do or visit. You will likely have to take the subway.
The building had good facilities, as the gym, which I used.
JJ was very kind and respectful at all moments. She also provided interesting information about areas, shopping, etc.
And Boro is really a nice and friendly dog!
I recommend this place for the price, and if you don't mind having to take the subway to get to areas with more movement.
Thank you, JJ, for your hospitality! It was very nice to come back to the room after a long day at work, and I appreciate the positive experience.
JJ was an excellent host and the apartment was very nice, comfortable and had a lot of conveniences like a dishwasher, fitness center and more. Everything was clean and the room was cozy and had a nice desk to work on. Boro was such an adorable and welcoming canine friend and JJ was so thoughtful and accommodating. I would def stay here again!:)
I loved staying with Jj, Justin, and their little dog Boro. The apartment was really nice and the neighborhood felt very safe. I came home after dark most evenings and never felt like I needed to worry. The subway was a couple of blocks away and it look me about 35-45 mins to get into Midtown Manhattan. Jj was always happy to help with any questions I had about the city and she was eager to make sure I had a nice visit. I would absolutely recommend staying with Jj.
Jj's home is in a great neighborhood. It is convenient to the subway, shopping and restaurants. Jj was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was comfortable and everything was very clean. Boro is a wonderful friendly dog.
I loved staying in JJ's lovely home! I was here for about 2 months - it is just as pictured, very cute and clean! The neighborhood is super safe, really close to grocery stores, CVS, restaurants, etc. Really easy walk to the F or Q trains which are both so convenient to Manhattan. JJ was absolutely the sweetest host, always really helpful and accommodating, and Boro the dog is such a cutie too! I had a great time here, I'd recommend staying with JJ to anyone visiting the city. Thanks so much JJ!
