We have lots of travel experience. We moved to this neighborhood because it is beautiful, quiet and family friendly. We love it! We have both lived in Los Angeles for many years and can point you to the fun tourist spots as well as the local fare. We have a tortoise and 3 rescue dogs. We volunteer with a local Weimaraner rescue shelter.
It is just a short drive to Hollywood attractions, downtown LA, the Rose Bowl, Old Town Pasadena and the studios, the Huntington Gardens, Burbank, wilderness hikes and much, much more. It is also just a few blocks to the quaint village of Montrose with shops and restaurants.
Clean and peaceful, it is a great alternative to a hotel. Perfect for tourists and snowbirds from Northern climes.

We provide coffee, tea, yogurt, bread and fruit for breakfast.
There are several dining areas inside and outdoors. Please clean up after yourself. No food is allowed in the bedroom. No overnight guests.

Will & Lynne are engaging hosts. I should add that their dogs are also most welcoming! The room is comfortable & quiet. Breakfast is delicious and the coffee plentiful & good. I would make this my home base on any trip to L. A.
Will and Lynne made me feel very welcomed into their beautiful home. They have a great location. Breakfast was not only delicious but was a time to get to know Will and Lynne better, which made it even better. Thank You!
This was my first experience with Airbnb and Will and Lynne did so much to make it a delightful and relaxing stay. The breakfasts were amazing and I enjoyed the morning conversations at the breakfast table. This was a perfect location for me and I plan to return in the near future. Overall I love the idea of Airbnb and look forward to checking out other listings. My stay at Will and Lynne's will be a tough act to follow however!
Will and Lynne are great host! Both of them are so kind and thoughtful! We stayed for 4days, each morning we enjoyed the breakfast and had close conversion with Will and Lynne, we talked about everything, I really enjoy it! One night we came back late at night, Will was so kind that he turned on the light just to make us feel like in home, I was so touched and thankful for that! One more thing, Will gave us a lot suggestions about LA, some of which even local people don't know. We followed the guidance and enjoyed the trip so much! In a word, for anyone who might be interested in will's house, I strongly recommend you take it immediately! That would be such easy decision! I will definitely come back when I come to LA again!
This was my fifth time staying with Will & Lynne. I could never have imagined that what started as a curiosity to try Airbnb has turned into a friendship that I cherish very much. Will & Lynne are the best hosts - I have used Airbnb in several other cities and no other experience has compared. They really go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable. On this trip, I had a crazy schedule and needed to leave at 5am - I would have slipped out quietly but Will & Lynne insisted on providing me with breakfast and being able to say goodbye. I am thankful to have met such an amazing family in the Moffitt's.
Will and Lynne are exceptional hosts. I felt very welcome in their home. The house is tucked back off the road and rather peaceful. I felt it was a great location for my stay in the Pasadena area. The room was cozy, had a very comfortable bed and nice morning sunshine. A delicious breakfast with wonderful coffee was served each day, on the patio or in the dining room, with a nice view of the pool.
Information was provided for touring the area and not just standard sight-seeing info you'd pick up at a hotel. Will and Lynne offered tips, shared personal stories, and provided great guest service.
I would, without a doubt, return for another stay with Will, Lynne, and their beautiful dogs.
My wife and I live in La Canada Flintridge, CA. We enjoy the outdoors, hiking and horseback riding. I am an avid photographer and my wife loves to garden. We are dog lovers and volunteer with a local rescue shelter for Weimaraners. Professionally, we are filmmakers. The majority of our work these days is doing projects for non-profits such as Operation Smile and World Vision.
Our son, Harrison, age 27, is back home with us after Law School. He is working for a law firm in Glendale, CA.. Our other son, Russell, and his wife, Sarah are oceanographers and live in Northern California.
