  • Fantastic house, great location. This not an ordinary home. This historic house is beautifully and tastefully restored with a great back yard and secure parking. Loved the barn wood floors, bathrooms, Apple TV, washer, dryer, and gourmet kitchen. Justin is a great host, very responsive and always willing to help. The house is located close to the convention center, grocery stores (Whole Foods etc.) We absolutely enjoyed our stay and I can highly recommend this Airbnb rental.

  • We enjoyed a week in this beautiful house very comfortably. We liked the area, the proximity to the metro line, the fact that this historic house has been completely renovated. The house has many posh features and the owner is understandably concerned that renters are mindful of caring for it. This is not a rental; the owner lives here when it is not rented. (For example, the closets and dressers are full, so renters don't unpack.) Justin was welcoming and left guide books, maps, and advice on local restaurants. There is a playground for children just a few blocks away, and neighbors we met were very friendly.

  • Three of us stayed at Justin's place in LeDroit Park between U Street and Bloomingdale for 5 days in early Oct 2013. His place was beautiful and in a perfect central location. The apartment has two real queen beds, queen sofa bed, and 2-1/4 BR. There is secure parking in the back for a car also. The metro was a 5 minute walk away but we opted to walk everywhere. The National Mall is a 2 mile walk, great restaurants on 14th street are about 1 mile away, and multiple bars / clubs along the U street corridor are 5 minutes walk. Justin was easy to correspond with and check in / out was really simple. I would recommend his place to anyone and if I'm back in DC would stay here again.

  • This was my first experience with Airbnb and Justin was the PERFECT host for us. My friends and I were planning to attend our Sorority’s 100 year celebration and we made a reservation with another host months in advance that cancelled three weeks before our trip. I sent Justin a message in the middle of the night while we were panicked trying to find housing. Justin replied first thing in the morning and he was eager to help turn around our negative experience. Not only did he offer to speak with me and answer all my questions but he was accommodating in every way to get the booking complete and ensure us that he would not cancel. When we arrived in DC with over 40 thousand other sorority sisters it was so refreshing that we had none of the worries of those lodging in hotels. No long waits for elevators…no long lines for transportation…no waiting on housekeeping…and to top it off…we had a FABULOUS house in a lovely neighborhood! Justin and Aaron’s home is absolutely beautiful. If you love the pics, expect that it is even better in person. The house is immaculate with absolutely nothing out of place and includes all the conveniences of home. Justin even provides Metro cards which came in handy since we used the extremely close Metro stop for all of our transportation needs. Justin and Aaron have not only put a lot of love into their home, but they are kind and considerate hosts!

We enjoyed having the gourmet kitchen at our disposal to cook meals. There are markets and stores close by that made running out for grocery items very convenient. When we were in a rush, there were several eateries in walking distance. For a week long stay with six women I think our favorite amenities were the two full bathrooms and the convenient washer and dryer!

The only regret my friends and I have is that we didn’t have time to enjoy the beautiful back yard during our stay. It is perfect for outdoor dining and relaxing and it is so inviting at night.

I would definitely book with Justin and Aaron again and I highly recommend their home for your stay in Washington D.C.!!! I have no doubt that you will LOVE it as much as we did.

We booked the house on the same day we came in. They made it ready so quick. Extremely flexible and reliable.
    Good Experience!

  • Justin is a great host. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and to make sure that we had whatever we needed. Justin's house is AMAZING......gorgeous and in a beautiful neighborhood, close to a Metro station. Bonus: You can take the Yellow line all the way from Reagan International to this house!
The house and the neighborhood feel like an oasis of calm and beauty in the heart of the city.
For those of you who are Zipcar people, there are several Zipcars close by.
Whole Foods is relatively close as well, plus there is a little neighborhood market (Ledroit Park Market) for emergency beer, wine, and cheese. Shaw's Tavern and Bistro Bohem are wonderful restaurants that are a five-minute walk away.
    Will definitely stay there again!

  • A first-rate airbnb experience. Pictures paint a thousand words; if you appreciate the photographs, I promise you won't be disappointed. Worthy of note is the proximity to Shaw Metro and the abundance of fantastic local restaurants and bars. Make sure you read Justin and Aaron's guide; they were fantastic hosts and the Thai is well worth the effort.
