ABOUT THE HOUSE:
I own this house in one of the best neighborhoods in Austin--Allandale. I am south of 183 just off Burnet Rd.
Beautiful master bedroom in 1750 sq.ft. house. You get your own place to sleep on a luxury memory foam mattress (king size!) There's also a desk and chair, so you can chill out with your laptop, as well as a TV (plus a recently-added Apple TV!), and some places to plug in your stuff. And--a closet and dresser where you can hang or place items.
It's a pretty big room--about 12x12. This room is extremely QUIET--it's incredibly peaceful and looks out on my back yard.
We have an indoor/outdoor cat, and a small Papillon dog (which are not allowed in your room). We keep the place extremely clean!

Erica and her husband and roommate were super-friendly and respectful. Great location for me and the room was great - comfortable, quiet, clean. I had my own private bathroom with a great shower and even my own exit to the backyard and deck. Very enjoyable stay! I hope to return and would highly recommend it to anyone!
It was my first time using Airbnb and it was great! That huge king bed was so very comfortable and it was nice having my own bathroom. Erica and John were very helpful with tips and advice for an out-of-towner like myself. I look forward to returning to Austin and staying with them again!
What can I say? The hosts, Erica and John, and their roommate, Larry, are fantastic examples of Austin-ites(?). They were so nice and friendly and helpful- they made me feel comfortable and welcome in their lovely home. They had great recommendations for food (yes!) and were in general very cool.
The room was great! I didn't realize how much I missed or appreciate a desk to surf the web on.
It was my first time in Austin. And I absolutely loved it! They definitely contributed to that. And I hope to visit again soon!
Congratulations again on the addition! I'm so happy for you guys:)
Erica and John are the cutest couple. John was particularly attentive, frequently looking out for me. The bed is super comfortable, giving me a better night's sleep than my own bed. A private bathroom is always nice, of course. The desk and WiFi proved very useful. I would both repeat and recommend staying here.
The listing description was very accurate and the neighborhood was really nice.
Erica was very helpful and welcoming. From arrival to departure - Erica made us feel at home. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was clean. The location is in a nice, quite Austin neighborhood that is near enough to major bus lines to make it into and out of downtown with ease.
