RELAXATION, RESTORATION and RENEWAL await you as you enter the PEACEFUL environment surrounding our Woodsy Retreat, nestled on 5 acres of Pine and Oak trees!!  Enjoy the privacy of our 1BR, 1 bath cottage as your 'home away from home' with all the comforts of home but without all the chaos!  Complete with a nature walking trail, hammock, rocking chairs, fire pit, games & more, this place will leave you feeling RESTORED!

The space
Serene private rural setting for enjoying peaceful sleep, coffee on the front porch in the rocking chairs, watching the sun rise through the trees, private nature trail, hammock in the trees, and on site grill and open firepit for your enjoyment.

Woodsy Retreat is furnished with vintage finds, but also has been renovated with a brand new bed and mattress, new linens and updated bathroom and kitchen amenities. Also offered with your stay is fresh coffee and tea selections, fresh fruit, as well as homemade pastry and all necessary toiletries.

Washer/dryer with detergent and softeners provided.

New flat screen 50” TV and DVD/Blu-Ray player

The cottage is a short 15 minute drive to Buena Vista, GA, or just 25 minutes to Columbus, GA, where you will find adventure waiting with great restaurants, historic parks and theaters, whitewater rafting and ziplining, and plenty of local shops. Fort Benning is 40 miles from Woodsy Retreat.
