Very bright, due to 3 tall windows to the East and 3 to the South. 2nd floor apartment, above restaurant. This means at same level as the street-lights. If light bothers you at night, this place might not be the best choice for you, as I don't like the way black-out curtains look, and therefore will not put those up. Large living-room, with a dining area. Open plan kitchen, equipped with everything necessary to cook a gourmet meal. Cozy bedroom, with super comfortable queen-size bed. Possibility of an additional queen-size airbed for an additional fee. Very clean. Walking distance to all of Hudson's antique stores, restaurants, music and night spots. Very quiet downtown area (except for the occasional noise of the nearby bar/night-club on weekends), close to the river and riverside park with mountain views. Experienced host (inn-keeper/hotel manager) will provide you with in-depth information about where to go and what to see. Quiet neighborhood with tea shop, wine bar, French bakery, great restaurants and many art galleries. Close to the Berkshires, all the Hudson Valley attractions (Olana, Clermont, Art Omi, Bard College, Montgomery Place, etc.), the Catskills, and many local hiking spots, wineries, farm stands and swimming holes.

Mona and her apartment were fantastic! It is just as shown/described on the website (email hidden) to stay while visiting Hudson. Being right on the main street in town makes it the perfect home base from which to explore. It's a very charming neighborhood with lots of fun antique shops to peruse and little places to eat. There are wonderful attractions a short drive away and thanks to Mona's resources and guidance, we were able to see a few. I appreciated the friendly gestures too - home made granola and eggs?! I wish all airbnb hosts could be so thoughtful and helpful!
The place was clean, nice and quiet. Near from everything. We had a good there. Mona was very nice and available.
Mona and her place are fantastic!! She was an incredibly thoughtful host, leaving us excellent instructions and even a few amazing local breakfast foods for us during our stay. Her place is very charming, clean, and has all the amenities you could need. Incredibly well-located too. Though I never got to meet Mona in person, she was an absolute pleasure to work with and I hope to (email hidden) next time I'm in the area!
Mona's apartment was neat, tidy, and inviting and in a great spot on Warren street close to many restaurants, bars, and shops. She was accommodating of our group and even left good breakfast food for us. We were a bit concerned at first because it was quite hot upon our arrival and she had not yet installed installed the air conditioning for the season, but it turned out to cool down for the rest of the weekend and was fine. The street noise on Saturday night was quite loud until almost 3am, but there was an event in town that day so it probably wasn't a regular occurrence. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here!
The bed was very comfortable and there were maps, coffee, food, cooking utensils and towels that made it easy to settle in. There were fans provided for the hot nights. Apparently a previous renter left windows open and they need a lot of repair and cleaning. The location was adjacent to a mixture of section 8 and mentally challenged adults that would approach us often during our stay. There is a lovely tea shop across the way with very friendly staff and yummy snacks.
Mona's place was great! We really loved the location on Warren Street walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants! Hudson is (email hidden) and the apartment has a bright, warm feeling and is immaculately clean!
Mona (email hidden). Full of local insight, she was quick to answer any question, flexible on check-in, and available should we need her. Her apartment is the perfect bright, roomy, quiet escape for those looking for a taste of Hudson Valley life, and the city of Hudson in particular. Will definitely recommend her and her apartment to anyone who asks!
We had such a wonderful time staying at Mona's apartment! Mona was so helpful and generous with information about where to go and what to do. Her apartment was great--clean, well stocked kitchen, and convenient location.
Mona's apartment was exactly as pictured. It was very quaint and clean when we arrived. Mona was very welcoming and even left us fresh milk, yogurt, and eggs to use. She gave us a detailed map of the area and several suggestions of what to do in Hudson. Her apartment was conveniently located close to several restaurants and shops which made walking around in the cold bearable!
The town of Hudson is amazing but something to note is that many restaurants are closed on Monday and Tuesday and on holidays so keep that in mind when planning your trip. All in all we had a wonderful experience staying at Mona's apartment and would definitely recommend it to anyone else interested in taking a trip to Hudson.
