My priority is to give maximum privacy to the guests unless they really want to meet me and have coffee, dinner, lunch, and so on. I provide "Eat Korean Authentic Breakfast with Host" service. If you are travelling alone and would like to have Korean authentic breakfast, I can join you and introduce some authentic Korean foods in this area.

I might have to enter the guest room to pick up things like sheets and pillows I store in the units. I will give you prior notice for this.

My guests so far mostly have had their own plans, but if you need some extra help, I will help you as long as I can.

While you can benefit from the safety, security, and cleanliness of this area thanks to the specialty of this area with the convention center called COEX where world summits come together for meetings, this location is also very close to some hot and hip Gangnam locations such as world class clubs, Octagon and Ellui, and hippy streets such as Garosugil and huge shopping and regular hangout areas such as Gangnam station and department stores. As a single female who once lived in AKA the best city to live, Vancouver, I wouldn't choose to live anywhere else than this area unless I had a car and I could afford to live in the uptown residential area in Gangnam with three bedrooms.

Samseong subway station line number 2 is located only 3~5 minutes walk away from this flat. Subway line number 2 connects most of the most visited spots in Seoul such as Dongdaemun, Myeongdong, Sinchon, Jamsil, Gangnam, Samseongdong, Seoul National University, and so on. Some Seoulites, when they are looking for their next home, they make sure it is near line number 2.

Located on one of the most expensive roads in Seoul, every cab driver knows this area. Located in an open area where taxis are lining up ALL THE TIME, the last thing you have to worry about is not being able to explain to the driver where to go. I will write a simple Korean for you to show drivers which will tell them where to go and they wouldn't have to ask any other question. This does not happen with every location.

My motto is friendly and helpful service, but I will leave you alone if I figure out that's what you want from your simple and straightforward reservation without asking for much communication.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Hanna was an excellent Host from beginning to end. The instructions Hanna gives for the hotel and the surrounding areas are incredibly detailed and all one has to do is read through her manual, which she personally emails you, to not feel nervous about staying in her apt and exploring Gangnam. The apartment was exactly as described and everything was in immaculate condition. If you have any questions, feel free to give hanna a message as she is very prompt in her responses.

Overall, a very great and wonderful first AirBnB experience. Will definitely consider booking an apartment through Hanna again if I am in the area.

P.S. If you have the time, do try and meet up with Hanna for at least a lunch/dinner. She is a wonderful person to get to know and very knowledgeable about virtually everything (not just korea!). You are missing out on half of the AirBnB experience if you don't hang out with the host!

  • Hanna's apartment was very nice.
Nice View, Very Clean, and very nice BED!
It is located near by COEX, so it is very easy to use public transportation.

  • This was a cozy, lovely place at a wonderful location in downtown Seoul. I won't hesitate to stay here again when I visit Seoul next time. The host (Hanna) was very attentive and there was nothing inconvenient at all. I very strongly recommend this place.

  • The place was good and we have spent 3 wonderful days in Seoul. It was easy to find the place as the manual provided by Hanna was very good including pictures of the buildings and roads. I would definately recomment to all my friends to use Hanna's place in the future in case they would travel to Seoul in the future.

    Thanks a lot Hanna

  • Hanna's place is literally right across from COEX and intercontinental hotel, and literally 2 minutes walk from the airport shuttle (so you can simply take the airport shuttle to/from ICN). City Terminal is also a 5 minute walk from here, so you can check in your luggage before you head over to ICN.

The bed was pretty huge and place is super clean, very well maintained.

  • The location and room was exactly as described! Hanna was being very sincere throughout our stay although we were overwhelmed with our own schedule ahead of her whenever she thought we might need her help..Nevertheless, it has been a very wonderful and comfortable stay for us! I will return again and definitely staying the same place. The location itself is really convenient and her manual guide is really informative! Thank you Hanna!

    Response from Hanna:

    Hey Shuqi,

Thanks very much for staying and leaving a great review. I was very sad on the day I thought you were leaving since I was staying right next to your room. You didn't know that! right? :) I tried to stay quiet because you might have gotten wrong impression otherwise. You have been very communicative and I appreciate that very much. I look forward to hosting you again in April. Sorry I have been very late in responding nowadays catching all the sleep I missed during the holiday. I haven't even been able to leave comments for my holiday guests' reviews.. which are down from here.. Anyways, I will see you again. Take very good care of yourself till then. Very best, Hanna

  • We had a nice stay at Hanna's. The place is very convenient and well-situated, right opposite the Hyundai Department Store. Plus, there are convenient stores and coffee shops downstairs. The room is clean, the bed is soooooo comfortable and the shower room is quite big. Hanna is a nice host as well. She replied every messages of mine quickly. Also, the house manual she gave us is very detailed and useful.

  • Hanna's apartment was great. Very clean. Very Central. It had everything you could need. A lot like a hotel except better since it had a kitchen. Hanna was a great host. attentive and helped me catch the bus to the airport. She speaks English well too.
    I'd definitely recommend Hanna's place.

  • Staying at Hanna's one room in Seoul was great. This apartment is really well located for travelers looking for convenience (close to city airport), good eats (lots of great local food options), and fun (very close to malls & subway station, bus stops & taxi!!). We didn't get to meet Hanna due to our busy schedule but next time around I'll be sure to make time to meet her in person. She is VERY prompt in her emails as well as very helpful with ALL your inquiries. She's super nice to have taken care of the trash bill (that one has to pay when throwing out big items in Korea) for us. Overall, we would definitely come back to this apartment whenever we're traveling in Korea. Thank you Hanna!

  • This wasn't a long term stay, hence I wasn't able to take advantage of all the amenities. But I can honestly say that everything I could have possibly wanted was in this room. The bed was so comfy, laying there for a few minutes when I arrived I dozed off before even unpacking. The TV is HUGE and the amount of channels are overwhelming. Be careful, you might waste a day of your vacation just exploring all the channels. Aside from that, all the appliances, etc. were all LG so it's not cheap stuff.

Also it's pretty close to the city airport terminal where you can actually check in your luggage prior to the airport and avoid all the long lines!

Hanna is a sweet person and was able to take some time out of her day to show me around lots of the great places which I probably wouldn't have found on my own. If you ever get the chance, do yourself a favor and let her show you around :)

    Response from Hanna:

Hi Kevin, Thank you for leaving the review during your busy schedule. I really appreciate it. Hope you got over your jetlag by now. I had so much fun showing you around the places that are not easy for tourists to spot. Thank you for your generosity and paying for my expensive one night's fee for the unit. Next time hopefully you will not have enough of the points at Hyatt so that you will stay in my flat again. :) Absolutely enjoyed your company. Let me know if you come back to Seoul. Warm regards, Hanna

Welcome to Seoul! 안녕하세요! My units are good for those people who : Like privacy (No sharing with strangers - especially toilet, some people might have disease, some people have bad habits, we all have different standard on germs, how do we know who the other people are? What their intentions are?) Like fine furniture (The price of my best bed is USD5500.00) Like fine views Like larger window Like to be protected by good security system Like to access stores within a few seconds Like to live in larger buildings Like to be greeted by doorman Like to use clean sheets Like to use clean and well functioning elevator Like to be close to major spots such as city airport terminal, department store, mall, five star hotels Like to enjoy the fresh and modern city design Don't like to waste time Don't like to risk their back condition by sleeping on a poor mattress Don't like to lift their luggage up the stairs and waste their energy or even hurt their arms and spines Don't like to get lost and spend more money on taxi You can stay in a more home-like environment at a low price. You are welcome to compare my units with other hotels - five, three, four star hotels, but definitely not love hotels. If you don't mind getting bug bites, don't mind a little bit of stain on the sheets, can deal with unwanted furniture and sheets picked up from the streets, then go for listings on (website hidden). My units are only for the people who care about the quality of life. If you will choose a place with poor furniture and dirty sheets, they will not replace them for you. You have to either live with it or leave it, leaving the money you spent. My units are for those people who want to make one single stop, whose hours are more important. My units are ideal for people with important business meetings, conventions, conferences, exhibitions at COEX and the area near Samseong station. Or they are ideal for those people who want to experience listings prepared by a host who really does make sure that guests get high quality experience rather than just cheap price and cheap settings. Try to find listings like mine with furniture like mine. You will spend days to find them and will never succeed! My listings are for those who want to pay the right price for no risk and no hesitation, no searching and no arguing afterwards. If you have lots and lots of time to take risks by taking cheap places with cheap furnishing, then pay for those places and spend even more time arguing the livability and getting new blankets to donate to the landlord.
