The flat is located just below the yellow dot! It is on the first floor directly overlooking the Thames in a South Easterly direction.
Luxury riverside apartment with 3 bath/shower rooms - 2 ensuite. The flat has a balcony over looking the River Thames and is on the first floor of a warehouse conversion. There is a large living space with excellent separate kitchen. It is tatefully furnished to a very high standard. Wooden floors throughout, - except in the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms.
The flat is located in Wapping - next to Tower Bridge. Wapping was part of London Docklands and is now a fashionable residential area - but steeped in history. There are plenty of famous local pubs - including 'The Prospect of Whitby' which is the oldest pub on the Thames and is virtually next door! Recently Wapping has gained a number of very fashionable and excellent resturants - one of which - Wapping Food, is located in an old hydraulic power station and is currently listed as one of the top 20 resturants in London. It houses an art gallery and is directly oppposite the apartment. The area is well served by public tranpsort and the tube, buses and Docklands Light Railway are on the doorstep providing easy and rapid access to the City and the West End as well as to Canary Wharf, Stratford and City Aiport
I am happy to have someone meet anyone on arrival and show them how the apartment 'functions' - that is if I am not able to do it myself! Given the nature of the apartment and its furnishing, it is not suitable for children! It might be possible to arrange the use of a car, however smoking would not be acceptable - except on the small balcony!
The flat's description is completely accurate. This is a gracious and warm flat with plenty of room for friends and privacy. Geoff and Richard left a starter kit of food and lots of information about the well-equipped and accessible neighbourhood. We had a wonderful time in this lovely home.
My wife and I along with another couple from the U.S. spent 5 nights in Geoff Pine's apartment in London, and we all agreed - it was WONDERFUL! Spacious, tastefully furnished, secure, and in a neighborhood
(Wapping Wall) away from the clamor of tourist sites. The living room is huge. The two bedrooms are located down the hall from the kitchen and living area, so early risers making coffee don't bother sleepers. The balcony overlooking the Thames is a great place to watch the world float by while having a drink. The kitchen is well-furnished. There are three bathrooms, each with a shower! We are walkers, so the 3/8 mile hike to the Overground station didn't bother us at all. Neither did the 1/2 mile walk to Shadwell Station to catch the train to Greenwich for an interesting day at the Prime Meridian/Maritime Museum/Cuttysark complex. The nearby places to eat include The Prospect of Whitby (right next door practically), The Captain Kidd (good prices), and Il Bordello on Wapping High Street at Reardon Path (great Italian food served by pleasantly grumpy waiters). We never tried Bottega Wapping nearby, but it looked good. The Victualler around the corner where Wapping Wall meets Wapping High Street is a good place to buy wine. They even let you taste some wines before buying. The apartment building has someone on duty in the office. They were helpful in arranging a car service for us when we left and went to Pancras Station to catch the Eurostar to Paris.
I highly recommend this rental to travelers to London. We travel quite a lot, and this is one of the very best places we've stayed.
One more comment: Geoff sent a pdf of instructions before we left home,
and it proved to be of great help.
We had a wonderful stay at Geoff's flat! The apartment was exactly as advertised. It was large, comfortable and, most importantly, afforded complete privacy for two couples with an extra bath left over for emergencies. The flat was expertly decorated and had every convenience. The best aspect was the balcony overlooking the Thames! We shared many bottles of wine there. The neighborhood had everything a visitor needs - restaurants, delis, and an overground station for easy transport, all without crowds of tourists. Highly recommended and we will use again when staying in London. Geoff was very helpful and responsive.
Thank you Geoff for a very comfortable stay in your apt in London. It is well situated in a quiet area of Wapping with wonderful views of the Thames. It is within close walking distance to Wapping overground station with a link to the underground system which is easy to use once you get the hang of it. Nothing like this in Australia.
We were a family of 4 adults and found the 2 large bedrooms and 3 (!) bathrooms more than adequate. The lounge is also large and very comfortable and very relaxing to just sit and watch the traffic on the Thames. The big kitchen is very well equipped and Geoff kindly left us more than adequate breakfast provisions which was handy as we arrived late on Saturday. It was also very convenient to have a pub next door (which we found fortuitously as it is not noticeable from the street entrance to the apt) for good pub meals, plus a beer or two.
We stayed in January and found the apt to be very well heated, with comfortable beds and plenty of towels. The internet access was excellent. The porters were also very helpful when needed.
Communication with Geoff both prior to and during our stay was sent and received very promptly. I would not hesitate to recommend this apt to anyone who wants a comfortable and personal stay in London.
A perfect place to stay. very near to central london . The hosts are warm and helpful. Most suitable for a family. Felt like home. Would definately stay again if in london. Thanks Geoff and Richards.

Recently left full time work as a College Principal and live mostly in London where I have a beautiful riverside flat available with great views from the balcony. I still work quite a lot and have major interests in the theatre, ballet, opera, travel and food!!
I also have an apartment in the centre of the lovely French city of Montpellier, also listed on airbnb.
Both places I view as my homes and wish to see them respected as such! I live with my partner Richard who is a graphic designer.
