The proximity to the river is really special - the vista is different every morning with an ever changing palette of colours and activity.
The apartment is located just below the yellow dot! It is on the first floor directly overlooking the River Thames in a South Easterly direction.
Luxury riverside apartment with 3 bath/shower rooms - 2 ensuite. The flat has a balcony over looking the River Thames and is on the first floor of a warehouse conversion. There is a large living space with excellent separate kitchen. It is tatefully furnished to a very high standard with wooden floors throughout.
The flat is located in Wapping - next to Tower Bridge. Wapping was part of London Docklands and is now a fashionable residential area - but steeped in history. There are plenty of famous local pubs - including 'The Prospect of Whitby' which is the oldest pub on the Thames and is virtually next door! Recently Wapping has gained a number of very fashionable and excellent restaurants. The area is well served by public tranpsort and the tube, buses and Docklands Light Railway are on the doorstep providing easy and rapid access to the City and the West End as well as to Canary Wharf, Stratford and City Aiport
Wheelchair access is easy as there is a ramp into the building and there is also a lift. The apartment is fully accessible except for a small walk in cupboard in the second bedroom.

I am very happy to provide any information prior to your visit and will always be reachable either by phone or email before and during your stay. I may be around to welcome you but if not will ensure that you have all the information to enable you to gain easy access to the apartment.
As indicated above, Wapping is steeped in history and the apartment is less than a mile from both Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. It is equally close to Canary Wharf.
There are a number of local buses and the Overground serves Wapping - a 5/7 minute walk from the apartment. You can be in the heart of the West End in less than 20 minutes by using the Overground and the Underground. The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) is also close linking us directly to City Airport, Stratford, Greenwich etc. There is an excellent local 'minicab' firm and black cabs pass along Wapping Wall on a regular basis on their way into the West End and the City.
Other Things to Note
There are a number of local small supermarkets within easy walking distance and a really good local butchers and other shops on the local 'high street'. There are two really good large supermarkets , - on near Tower Bridge at St Katherine Dock and the other at Canary Wharf.
I am happy to have someone meet anyone on arrival and show them how the apartment 'functions' - that is if I am not able to do it myself! Given the nature of the apartment and its furnishing, it is not suitable for children! It might be possible to arrange the use of a car, however smoking would not be acceptable - except perhaps on the small balcony as long as you dispose of any cigarette ends somewhere else!
