The "pink room" is a nice bedroom with view on the sea in a 1900 villa registered on national historical building list.

Hi ! The "chambre rose" is one of the three room we got on airbnb.
Our villa is an original place, built in 1868 for a famous french compositor Auber director of the Paris opera. it have been a casino before to be modified in 1903 as a private "art nouveau villa"
Habited since 1968 by an artist family it's a cross over of modern style architecture, contemporary art, vintage bicycles and home made marmelade.
As we always like got friends at home to share with us this lovely place, we use to got people at home, we have decided to get some of our bedrooms available to Airbnb.
We got tree rooms available don't forget to check the two other room if this one is not free for your date or if you need more than one room.
Please look at the pictures and comments.
Expect to leave in an old huge house. About comfort : bathroom, kitchen, etc...are a bit rustic or we could say authentic I let you see...
The bedroom got a good double bed and a very nice view on the sea.
The villa is in front of the sea, you have just to walk few steps to walk on the beach.
in the same time we are very close of all the shops, restaurants, and services.
If you got a car you can park it in streets around the house . We can also afford you some bicycles to ride the area.
If you come from Caen gare statin by public transportation the line bus is Twisto 61, it's direct from the train station to our place, time of transportation 45 mn.
As Dauville and Cabourg Lion sur Mer is one of the first "station balnéaire" built in the 19eme century, the seafront of Llion sur Mer / Hermanville is welknown for it's villa's build beween 1860 and 1914 (brochure itinéraire du patrimoine n°125)
Activity : you got a tennis club, few nautic clubs, some thalasso and a lot of museums and sites about the D-Day to visit in the region.
My advice is first to enjoy the beach, country side and the local specialties, seafoods, the fishes, fresh cream and for that we got some good adresss.
BREAKFAST, BICYCLES, SHEETS and TOWELS included !
You can use our two gardens on the sea or street side to enjoy sun. The kitchen to open oysters, cook and keep fresh cider in the fridge.
We share also the bathroom, dinning room, and living room.
Interaction with Guests
I m at home every morning for breakfast let me know what would you like, coffee ? tea ? chocolat ?
We are in a little village on the sea, with all usefiull stores and restaurants in a few metters area. Sea and a huge beach are just in front of us. countryside and fields just on our back.
Our part of the normandy coast is still very calm with nice huge villas from the 19th century on the seafront, it’s just a bit more busy during summer holidays (14 july / 15 august) with the bastille day fireworks, week end’s flee markets etc...
2h30 from Paris with car
With train + bus it’s more or less 3h from Paris st-Lazare gare station. Train is direct from Paris to Caen and from Caen train station you got a direct bus line to our house.
Here you can do a lot of things walking or cycling, but if you plan to visit Normandy a car will be useful to go to Bayeux, Dauville, Mont St Michel etc...

Notre premier expérience d'Airbnb en France et c'était formidable! La maison est atypique mais plein de charme. Se réveiller au son des vagues, what else? Jasmin nous a donné des conseils très utiles en plus. A refaire:p
Wij komen zeker weer terug Jasmin bedankt!
Our stay at Jasmin's place was an experience for all senses: an old, interestinginly decorated building to look at, a good french breakfast for taste and falling asleep to the sound of the sea... A truly unique place, a very friendly and welcoming host and discussions with other guests - what more can you ask? We will come back one day, thank you Jasmin!
Jasmine and his crew made us feel very welcome!
His house is like a museum and it's nice to hear Jasmine talk with such a passion about it.
The location was just like described on ht internet: view on the sea...
We loved our stay!
Très agréable week-end à Lion sur mer, Jasmin est un hôte très chouette, à l'image de la Villa Louis!
