We stayed here for the new years and I would rate our stay was average especially after paying £215 for 3 nights. From pictures the room did look cute, small though. However there was lot of stuff present in the house which the pictures don’t display there by not offering enough space for even 2 people to relax on the lower floor. The bathroom was way too small for someone to use comfortably. Wifi was a bit glitchy. The TV worked fine as described. The bed was ok; no problems in sleeping. We were able to use to kitchen stove (1 hot plate didn’t work) for light cooking. The location is excellent though i.e. 2-3 mins to Abbesses metro station / Sacre Cecour and you do have some good restaurants near by. There is a small super market as well at 3-4 mins walk from the house. Please note that you have to climb approx. 50-60 steps from Abbesses station to get to the building and then again 4 floors (no lift) to reach the house. The host [Maite] who I think lives in Sabrina’s flat, was also helpful in kindly providing the train directions for us to get to the house. This might be a good place to crash for a night or for budget travellers, but not ideal for young couples looking to spend romantic time in Paris / families with more than 2 people or older people.
Cute apartment in the best neighborhood, you can see the eiffel tower from the building's stairs… what else to say. Perfect for a young couple.
We really loved the place. Definitely big enough for a couple, very comfy and has everything one needs. Sheets and towels were provided and clean.
The only thing is that the wireless internet was a bit glitchy, but it was good enough to check e few things before going out.
Cute little place in Montmartre, only a block or two from both Sacre Coeur and Place du Tertre (both a definite must-see). As others have noted, the place is quite small, and the shower a little awkward, and it is four flights of stairs up to the apartment (and up a bunch of steps or steep roads before you get there), so much more suited for light travelers. None of that was a problem for us, though. If you're looking for someplace simple and inexpensive in a quaint neighbourhood, this is a good choice. (Note also that Sabrina -- or someone -- does live here at least part of the time. Again, not a problem for us, but it's not immediately obvious from the listing or the pictures that this is the case.)
Sabrina is lovely and well organised. This apartment is perfect for the budget traveller wanting to stay near this area. Great local places down the hill away from the tourists. Be aware that the door to the apartment is problematic!
This apartment is a cuter space than pictured and located in the heart of Paris. We imagined ourselves as artists working within the confines of this small space with its mini stove, bathroom and sink. Its prime location is definitely within walking distance to many cute cafes, restaurants, stores, attractions and thrift stores. Don't expect to escape tourists in this area. While we were challenged with opening the apartment door one day, Sabrina rushed over to save us from being locked out. We appreciated her sense of urgency and immediate helpfulness. Thanks for making our first Airbnb experience a pleasant one!
The appartment is on a very good location near Sacre Coeur. It is around the corner. If you have a lot of luggage and you have to walk with it, do not book this place. It is climbing stairs on the street and it is climbing stairs in the building up to the top.
If you like any comfort at all and a place to relax after a day of exploring Paris we advice you to look for alternative rentals. The appartent is very small and it has wear and tear. If you just want an affordable place to drop your luggage and take a sleep, this could be your place. Paris had a very good metrosystem, so it is not to important to be close to major sights.
Was exactly what we were needing, a cheap room in Paris. With no hassle. Surrounding area was quite beautiful, and down the road from a lot of different shops.
We had a wonderful stay at Sabrina's appartment. It is very cute and cosy, and is situated just perfect!!! Sabrina was very nice and uncomplicated. Everything just perfect. Thank you Sabrina!
Great location - small apartment but that was what we were expecting. Montmarte is a wonderful area, even if you want a day off from sight seeing, there is plenty to see in the area. Yes you can see the Eiffel Tower from the stairwell window and the Sacre Coeur from the unit window. There were 2 of us and it was fine. Only negative was not enough communication from Sabrina before we arrived to let us know we had to vacate the unit early - we did not have a train ticket to depart to London until 4.30pm, so it left us a day to manage luggage and filling in time - we only found out the day we arrived.
