‼️PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING! This unit has a ladder, steps, and compost toilet making some guests uncomfortable. Read the full listing to make sure there are no surprises upon your arrival.‼️

The Tiny Blue House 🏡 is a 192 sq. ft. tiny featuring a giant patio, full kitchen, living room, office desk/table, storage closet, and rainwater shower. Enjoy a fire under the stars. 💫 Grill some burgers 🍔 and enjoy the sounds of nature. 🎶

The space
PLEASE NOTE: There are stairs to enter the tiny house, one step up into the bathroom, and a wooden ladder to the loft. If you are not comfortable with steps or have mobility issues this may not be the best accommodation for you. Please accept my apologies 😔; however, I can recommend a tiny house that is ADA compliant 20 minutes south of Gainesville. 🪜

Please wait to book until you have received approval from your partner/boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife/neighbor/sister/brother/Tinder date. They may not be comfortable staying in a tiny house or using a composting toilet. Not everyone is excited about this experience as you and I am!

The tiny house 🏡 features a very generous 16ft x 24ft stone patio with a picnic table 🧺 and fire pit for two 🔥. The tiny house has a spacious living room 🛋, full kitchen with cookware 🍽, loft, and bathroom with a composting toilet 🚽♻️. There is a Roku TV for those who prefer to wind down with a show after a full day of activities. The couch doubles as a pull out bed if you have a friend or child traveling with you or if the loft makes you claustrophobic. Please let me know if you plan to use the pull out and I’ll have linens ready for your arrival. 🛌

I built this house in 2015 and lived in it for 5 years. I’m excited to share it with you! The tiny house is surrounded by nature and far enough away from the house to provide privacy.

COMPOSTING TOILET INFORMATION: The toilet does not flush, but is nothing like a port-o-potty. It is maintained regularly and there is no smell. If you are interested in learning more about this specific model before booking you can see a demonstration here: https://youtu.be/24LimUrb4LM

Please note that you may encounter projects happening on the property during your stay as I try to improve the homestead. These projects will be limited in both noise and proximity as to not disturb you and to ensure you have a relaxing stay. 🛠

During your stay

I am always around to explain, fix, or offer local advice—but want you to have plenty of space as well! Come to the main house if you do not see me around, send a message through the app, or call. I am very responsive.

I practice social distancing due to seeing multiple of guests each week that visit the property. I will respect your space and ask for you to respect mine. I want to make sure to provide a safe environment for all guests depending on their safety levels.
