The space
Always Clean. Modern Lounge is only shared with the owners, never with other AirBnB guests. The Second Bedroom can be offered to groups of 3 or 4 guests. Couples wanting separate bedrooms can choose 3 persons on their reservation. The style is Minimalist and Modern. Located in a nature hillside setting, peaceful, with free parking. We have strong wi-fi, and a patio balcony with a view. The G Lounge feels like a private accommodation, due to the hosts having full time hectic work schedules. We are available 24/7 by phone or text to address any on-site problems, or to give advice on things to do and places to see around Santa Barbara!

Guest access
Detailed self checkin instructions are provided prior to arrival, on the day before the stay. Entry code details are sent via AirBnB message board. We are also available by text message, iMessage, and Social Networks. Guests are welcome to contact us anytime after reservation is completed with questions or requiring advice and tips regarding their stay.
An extra fee will be charge if the 2nd room is used without prior negotiation and consent of the host.
Please only use the designated guest room

Other things to note
-General-

Be prepared to self checkin. Install the AirBnB application on your mobile device. Read and familiarize yourself with our checkin process prior to arrival. Do not wait until you have arrived to figure it out.

Being quiet in the house and discreet in the parking area is important to maintain good relations with our neighbors. Please close doors Gently and delicately when using the G Lounge. Keep noise down.

Only use the designated bedroom.
A $50 dollar fee will be charge if the 2nd room is used without prior negotiation with the host.

NO SMOKING / No VAPING Anywhere within the Oak Grove Condominium Association. We are in a high fire zone, and maintain an odor free environment out of respect for other residents. Odors easily travel to other units. The public street and parking areas are also off limits for smoking.

No inviting extra guests without our approval.

No ordering food delivery services past 9pm. Drivers will pull up and shine their head lights directly towards other units. This can cause neighbors to be disrupted in their sleep and complaining to me.

Eating in the bedroom and living room sofas is forbidden. Extra charges will apply if sofas are stained, or have crumbs between cushions or below.

Do NOT walk in public areas or parking without a shirt or shoes on. Uphold a classy image towards neighbors.

-Kitchen-

No cooking with oil or greasy foods. Avoid all odors of fried food. Extra cleaning may be charged if kitchen needs to be cleaned from oil build up below upper cabinets, or if extra time is needed to air out the condo from lasting odors.

Coolers : If you bring cooler. Unload it’s contents into the fridge and leave cooler outside on the patio, or preferably back in your car. Do not leave cooler in the house. Any moisture damage to the floor or furniture will be charged for full replacement. Often coolers left out can attract ants. Any extermination services needed will be charged.

Dishes are washed by our housekeeper after departure. No need to do dishes. Leave dirty dishes in sink. Please do NOT place any dirty dishes directly in dishwasher without thoroughly rinsing them. Dirty dishes can be left in the sink unwashed, or can be hand washed prior to putting them in the dishwasher.

Counters : The counters edges can chip if knocked accidentally wish dishes or cookware. Please handle with care. Do not place any hot pots, pans or coffee maker directly on white kitchen counters. The material is Quartz and may yellow under intense heat. If needed, there is a large wood cutting board below the bottom drawer of the cabinet between the fridge and the oven.

Please do NOT leave any exposed food or take out containers anywhere except inside the refrigerator.

Recycling box is next to the small stainless steel container in the kitchen. Please use it for plastic bottles and, paper and glass items.

The G Lounge is pleasantly located in the foothills between Santa Barbara and Goleta, offering open views from the bedrooms and living room. It feels like a country setting, although it is only a quick 6 mile drive or Uber to downtown Santa Barbara, the waterfront, and the Funk Zone's urban wine trail. It is also close to the More Mesa Preserve offering beach access to one of the most beautiful beaches in the area.

Life partners and design professionals who love to host and entertain in Santa Barbara! Our backgrounds are Mediterranean and Mexican. We began our design careers in California almost 20 years ago. We instantly fell in love with Santa Barbara’s lifestyle. Over the years, we’ve become specialists in local “Joie de Vivre”. Happy to share our tips and recommendations with you! We spend our days mostly designing , renovating, swimming, exercising, or relaxing in the Wine Country with friends and visiting guests. As local hosts, we enjoy meeting like minded travelers from various backgrounds and cultures, who also appreciate design and minimalist spaces. We speak fluent French, Italian, English, and Spanish. We love and care for our listings meticulously. We expect the same from our guests. Most importantly, we pay special attention to ensure constant respect to our neighbors and surroundings is upheld. Hospitality is our pride and joy. We ensure that all legal ordinances and regulations are met at all times by everyone. Our properties underwent major renovations, uniquely designed by our own hands. Interior styling is inspired from our favorite coastal boutique hotels, combined with an urban touch. We are proud minimalists who firmly believe "Less is More"! Please feel free to inquire about the Santa Barbara “absolute must's", or let us know if you'd like setup a local experience such as City & Mountain Jeep Tours, Surf Lessons, Mountain Biking, or Wine Tasting at our Premium wineries of the Santa Ynez valley. We'd love to help you achieve the ultimate Santa Barbara experience getaway!

During your stay
Monica and I love to host! Even though our work lives keep us extremely busy, we are always available by phone, text or email. We are mostly away from home during regular office working hours and don't return until after we're done with our work-outs at the Athletic Club or social engagements. We value guests who communicate clearly and frequently to facilitate planning and to ensure a smooth stay with no surprises. We usually exchange via AirBnB emails, text or iMessage. We can also use other commonly known platforms as needed for our International visitors who may not have access to data at certain times.
