Your stay will be in a comfortable, quiet home in a friendly neighborhood close to BART in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The master bedroom features a queen bed, plush linens, a partial view of Mt. Tam, and overlooks two lush, green backyards.
The other bedroom has a beautiful view of the San Francisco skyline (well, half of it), a partial bay view, and you can even see the lighthouse on Alcatraz at night. Immediately outside you can see peaceful trees and backyards. The bed has recently been UPGRADED to a real full bed and has received excellent reviews from my most recent guests. The 12' by 9' room has a small desk and a large closet, as well as a TV. I have also improved the room by removing the large office cabinet you see in the pictures, so you now have much more space for your stuff.
The home features one bathroom, a full kitchen (with gas stove), living room, and dining room and free access to laundry and wireless internet. I'll provide a few simple breakfast items, like cereal, instant oatmeal, toaster waffles and toast and coffee or tea.
A 5 minute walk gives you access to the train that takes you all over the Bay Area (BART). Across from the station you have a very large, new Safeway (grocery) that has a Starbucks, deli, and pharmacy inside. There are also other shops and a few restaurants. The neighborhood is safe, friendly, residential, and quiet. If you want to explore, all along the BART there are stops that bring you to quaint neighborhoods full of great shops and varied, excellent restaurants. San Francisco is a very short trip - only a half hour to forty minute ride! Finally, there's a park nearby with tennis courts and a great path for walking.
What else? I have a 42" plasma TV and a DVD player that you're welcome to use. Off street parking is available for one car in the driveway but additional cars can easily find street parking.
MORE ABOUT THE HOME:
1. The wall heater is in the hallway outside of the bedrooms. This means you can either leave your door open or you can use the electric blanket on chilly nights.
2. You're welcome to use the kitchen and the fridge, but I'm a vegetarian- so if you want to cook meat there's special cooking things set aside just for you.
Check in time is 4:00pm; check out is Noon. I'll also ask for your arrival time in advance so that I will know whether to leave a key for you or greet you in person. Thanks so much!

Clean. Comfortable. Convenient. Everything else you read here in the reviews here is entirely true!
Missy was awesome, left great instructions, snacks, and let me take some lemons from her tree!
Really liked the space - very serene and pleasant. Beds were comfortable though my nephew said the sofa bed was the usual sofa bed (i.e. ok but not renown for comfy). Missy was a great hostess - clear communication, helpful, checking to be sure everything was ok. We have family nearby so this is a great find for our family. Thanks, Missy! :)
We stayed at Missy's place for three nights. It was by far the best AIRBNB property we have stayed at.
Missy was the perfect host. Her communication was first class and her house was perfect for the needs of our family.
The house has two good size bedrooms with comfortable beds. One of the bedrooms has a television as well. The kitchen is large with everything you need to cook and eat. There is a dishwasher and good size fridge with ice maker. The dining area and lounge room are very comfortable for four people.
Missy provides free wifi, free washing machine and dryer, and best of all there is off street parking.
We really like the neighborhood. We walked to the Bay Area Train Station that is less than five minutes walk away. We caught the train to the city and then a tram to the pier where we had a fantastic day.
We felt very safe in this neighborhood. We have been traveling through the western part of the USA for a month and this was by far the best neighborhood we have stayed at.
There is also a fantastic Safeway right next to the train station that has beautiful Asian food and salads that make for an easy meal.
We highly recommend Missy as a host, and highly recommend this property for people who would like a homely environment for their visit to the San Francisco area without the high expense of accommodation in the city.
Missy owns a very convenient and nice place (we could see SF skyline from the living room window!!). We had a great time there even if the bay area is colder than we expected and I definitly recommend it!
Missy's place was a perfect fit for our family of four--lots of space, very comfortable and conveniently located. The thoughtful breakfast goodies (including coffee!) and wifi were a big plus. The BART train and freeway are both very close. It was super clean and Missy was attentive and a good concierge tipping us off on fun events. She left a helpful box of maps, train schedules etc. that we made good use of.
Great host, cozy place. Not the nicest amenities but just what we needed for the price range we needed it for, and available for 1 day reservations which is hard to find in the summer.
The snacks she laid out was a nice touch. Only caution is if you plan on cooking much meat, there's a limited set of things you can use.
We had a team retreat and fed 6 people (1 did not stay overnight) so it was a bit of a constraint for us, but for most people it shouldn't be.
