Both Don and Sue were exemplary hosts! We felt totally welcomed and enjoyed our stay in their beautiful home. We enjoyed the scenic view of Puget Sound from their deck with wine in hand, surrounded by hummingbirds. Since it was our first visit to West Seattle, Don offered a wealth of information of (including maps & directions) points of interests and recommended restaurants close by. ('Cactus Restaurant' on Alki Beach serves great Mexican food and is beachfront/boardwalk). Sue's breakfasts were fabulous and filling, until our Edeleen ice cream cone stop at the Blaine border : )
Don & Sue made our first AirBnB experience wonderful. They were very warm and treated us like we were friends visiting. The price cannot be beat and Sue's breakfasts blow any luxury hotel's breakfast out of the water. We enjoyed ourselves so much that next time we visit Washington we will see if they're available!
The moment we arrived we were warmly greeted. It was a short 3 night stay for my daughter and I, and Sue and Don helped to make the experience wonderful. The beds were extremely comfortable and the seperate living area provided a comfortable couch, table and mini (website hidden) and internet service were awesome, and the breakfasts served in Sue and Dons dining room overlooking the Sound was AmaZing! As a side note- I love the opportunity to stay in neighborhoods that you would not otherwise be able to stay while traveling. Thank you so much Sue and Don! You two are incredible hosts and I would highly recommend your accommodations to anyone visiting Seattle.
Oh MY what a wonderful experience! Lovely home, lovely people!
