OMG, I honestly don't know if what I write here will truly capture how much we enjoyed staying with Hans and Deirdre, but I'll try. Location, location, location was so true, we had no issues getting anywhere in the city and we were conveniently located to many of the sites as well as some really nice restaurants and pubs. Their home was very lovely, they made sure that we were comfortable and also made sure we were having tons craic (Craic=Fun, not American Crack)! Also breakfast served every morning, which was delicious. Also you get a pretty good run down of places you have to go see, or you're fired, according to Hans. More than anything it was just the overall hospitality that made us really enjoy this place. Hans and Deirdre know everything and every place to explore and adventure in Dublin, which made life a lot easier for us. Overall, if we ever make it back to Dublin this is the only place we will stay.

Hans and Diedre are the kind of Irish you want to meet, especially at the start of your Ireland exploration. Besides being very attentive hosts, they also provided, with delightful sense of humor, insights of Ireland history, culture, music, food, etc, and best places to visit to get best out of our time in Ireland. Their house is charming, cozy, very conveniently located with easy access by foot or by public transportation, and our room spacious. Their breakfast of great quality is "served", not just "provided", which is above our expectations. We highly recommend their home! Don't forget to read their guest book!

Hans and Diedre were great hosts. We were welcomed into their home, served a fresh homemade breakfast every day, along with converstaion and tips on things to see and places to go. Their home is in a quiet neighborhood, just off a main street. It felt secluded and safe, but was close to everything. Easy walk to mot places in Dublin, and close to a bus stop if you wanted to venture further out. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Would stay here again if I am back in Dublin. Wonderful hosts, especially if you want to interact with your hosts and learn about the city from a native.

These folks aren't kidding when they say location! Located on a quiet street, the room was huge, much larger than I expected and a two minute walk to Camden Street, filled with great restaurants, bars, grocery stores, atms, anything you might need. Parking was a breeze, the hosts gave us permits on arrival that we kept in our car. The bed was large and comfortable, spacious bathroom, and the breakfast with Hans and Deidre was delightful. They have many recommendations on things to do in Dublin and restaurant suggestions. You really feel as though you're staying with long time friends. Should we return to Dublin, we would stay here again.

Our stay with Hans and Deirdre was the highlight of our days in Dublin. Each morning began with a wonderful breakfast and lively conversation. They were warm, very helpful with suggestions, and Hans even took us to the airport because of a bus strike. THeir place was comfortable, tasteful, and in a good location for exploring Dublin. This was one of the best airbnb experiences I've had. Thanks so much.

Hans and I have 3 grown up children who now live elsewhere. We are self employed and work from home. We work in the Fashion industry and are Textile Agents for Mills in Europe, we travel to Paris twice a year for a Fashion exhibition. Hans is a keen Fisherman and does a lot of Fishing in the West of Ireland - a place we both love .I am a keen walker and a member of a Hill Walkers group . We live in an old Georgian house which is within walking distance of the City centre and guests will have easy access to Museums, restaurants, shops, parks etc. - everything is on our doorstep .
We would love to welcome guests into our home and we know we would make their stay in our home and in Dublin a memorable one!
