  • The cabin was super comfy and cozy, especially that bed! All the necessary items needed to have a great stay were there for our use. We made breakfast a couple of days and it was nice to have a refrigerator to store snacks. Definitely recommend this great gem in Portland....we discovered the NE side to be up and coming and cute!

  • This is a great little spot, and great hosts! So nice to wake up to their beautiful garden every morning. Bed was totally comfy, everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared, and the hosts were great communicators and very responsive. Totally private and cozy, terrific area - took advantage of the 4-minute walk to yoga, restaurants, and coffee a number of times. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Rachel and Joe have a nice little cabin in a great neighbourhood. nearby yoga, groceries, restaurants, beer, coffee and bike lanes. the cabin is quiet, clean, and cosy. and a hot tub on a rainy evening is something good.

by bike, it's a sweet ride to Forest Park (45min), SE Portland (10-20 min), and downtown (15 min). easy highway exit to Hood River. so much goodness to explore, both in town and out. I'll be back!

  • Rachel and Joe were amazing, kind and thoughtful hosts. The cabin was perfect for our stay a quiet neighborhood but not more than a 5-10 minute drive from everywhere we wanted to go. There is a Walgreens within walking distance for your convenience and Pine State is a 2 minute drive for our favorite breakfast spot. The bed was so comfortable that it made getting out of bed a difficult experience.

  • We had a very pleasant stay at this cozy cabin during a weekend trip to Portland. The area is great and just a short walk to the Alberta Arts District and fun attractions like the Kennedy School. The cabin itself was very comfortable - clean and tidy and stocked with a couple of nice touches, like fresh eggs and coffee.

The hot tub, too, was a delightful perk. After walking around all day, it was a perfect way to end our evening. Maximoose the cat made an evening appearance and was a very sweet little host as well.

Though we didn't get a chance to meet Joe and Rachel, they were very accommodating and we appreciate their flexibility regarding a special request during checkout.

Thanks to them both and we hope to be back again!

  • My girlfriend and I stayed at the Soak n Sleep over Valentines Day weekend and had a great experience. The place was incredibly cozy with one of the most comfortable beds we'd ever slept in. The hot tub was a great perk and felt amazing to just sit and soak in it while the rain came down in the morning.

We never met our hosts but everything was set up thoughtfully. The place was easy to access and felt private even though it was in the back yard of the house. The instructions were clear, there were plenty of fresh towels, toiletries if we needed them and there was a great list of recommendations. It was a perfect neighborhood to stay in as well, plenty to see and do and with easy access to the rest of Portland.

I'd definitely recommend this spot to any friends and we already said we'd stay here again if it's available the next time we came through Portland.
