Just Enjoy It :)
Anna's place was wonderful! We stayed there for 10 nights and didnt want to leave. The place is as described and looks just like in the photos. It is a quiet neighborhood which makes it even more perfect. Anna is a wonderful host- she sent us alot of recomondations about where to eat, where to hangout and what clothing to wear in order not freezing :)
Her place is easy to find, near a subway station, easy to reach and nice to stay at at our honeymoon- clean, specious, smells nice and has everything you need to feel at home. Everything was absolutely perfect.
Anna made us feel very welcome, her directions and info pack for NY were excellent. The location of Anna's place was perfect for our needs. The subway downtown was just a short walk away. The restaurants in the area are fab. We recomend visiting a Mexican place called Two lizards. We stayed at Anna's for over 10 days and could not fault the place. The photos are accurate and the location is fantastic. Anna was very prompt with responding to any questions. Loved it.
Anna's place was as advertised! The apartment was cozy, clean, pleasant, centrally located and the bed was exceptional. Anna was available for all questions and made us feel welcome.
We had a wonderful experience staying in this Upper East Side Apartment. The description and images of the apartment were accurate and it had everything we possibly needed. The location was perfect, with everything in walking distance including the option of subway stations. We really appreciated having access to wi-fi, given it was limited around town. When we arrived back at the apartment after long days it was great to be able to touch base with family & friends. Anna also provided us with some great local knowledge on places to eat, shop, visit etc. I would definitely recommend Anna as a host and her gorgeous apartment.
It was our first experience with AirBnB and we are very content about the way it works. It was also our first visit to NYC and we found it very important to stay in an appartment which was convenient. So we looked through many appartments before we choosed the appartment of Anna. Our choice was based on her describtion, the pictures and the reviews. And though it is written many times in the reviews we must admit that it is true that the communciation with Anna was very easily and quickly responding by e-mail. She also gave us many tips to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Besides this the appartment is clean, quiet from streetnoise and has everything as what is promised. Especially a good bed, good shower with bath and a fully equiped kitchen and bathroom.
We only missed a table and a chair for eating, writing etc. But maybe this is a real Dutch thing and they weren`t shown on one of the pictures so we did knew they weren`t there before we booked.
The appartment is very well located to the subway, central park, musea and has good restaurants and foodshops just around the corner at 2nd ave.
We stayed for 8 days in NYC and a tip is to buy an unlimited 7-days metropass. It cost less than buying a single ticket every time. That also considers a boat trip. Take the east river ferry instead of the circle line on the Hudson.
Anyway we had a great time in the appartment and in NYC. We certainly recommend Anna and her appartment to our friends! Anna we thank you again for being the way you are as a trustfull and a cooperate person.
Anna was an awesome host and we loved her apartment. Anna was very quick to respond to our questions and made pick up of the keys very easy for us coming in at midnight. It was very clean and comfortable. The location was great. We liked being away from the more touristy areas but easily able to access them by subway or walking. The restaurants around the apartment are fantastic and within easy walking distance. Grocery stores also nearby. Lots of fresh towels and bedding for our 13 night stay which was nice. Shower was excellent. Lots of hot water & good pressure etc. Thanks Anna for making our NYC experince special.
The apartment is comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is small, but well equipped. We stayed 17 days and never saw a single insect or rodent. It's located in the back of the building so it's quiet with little noise from traffic. There's a doorman and the neighborhood feels safe. When we arrived the key was left with the doorman so check in was easy. There's a laundry in the basement that's very convenient with about 8 washers and 6 dryers. The shower in the bathroom is strong with plenty of hot water. The bed is a queen size and comfortable. The air conditioner works well. There's grocery stores, bars, drugstores, restaurants and a bakery all within a block or two. Bus stop is one block, subway station about 3 blocks, central park 4 blocks. We never met Anna, but communicated easily with her by text/email to answer a couple questions. The wifi internet access is excellent and there is a nice flat screen LCD HD TV but no cable TV service turned on, so we purchased a ROKU Stream Stick for $49.95 at the Best Buy on 86th St and plugged it into the HDMI2 port on the TV. It paired automatically with the wifi and gave us free access to dozens Roku channels including live streams from CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg and access to Netflix, Amazon and Pandora. Also there's no coffee pot in the apartment so we bought a 4-cup Mr. Coffee for $9.95 at the PJ Richards on 86th St. We were visiting NY for the birth of a grandchild and we had a great time. Anna was a great host and we would definitely look to go back again. Thank you, Anna!
