    Additional comments:
The check in was quite easy which Hakim coordinates quite well. It would have been nice to meet him as it felt a bit in-personable, though I am originally from Montreal and know the city well, other travelers could have many of their questions quickly answered if they had an opportunity to meet Hakim.

The experience in Hakim's unit/building does have a hotel feel to it, those who would prefer a more "integrated" experience within a neighborhood could find smaller homes/condos on some of the smaller streets off St. Laurent (e.g. search "The Main" neighborhood).

  • This was a great place, especially for the price. It is walking distance to old town and is a block or two away from two different metro lines. All I had to do was find the place and walk in, door was unlocked and key was on the counter waiting for me. So much easier than a hotel and a lot less money! Just be prepared to pay for parking...a little pricey. I would stay here again-for sure!

  • We were in studio apt 712. Centrally located. 3 and a half blocks away from Montreal Central train station and the underground city. A short walk to Notre dame basilica. A couple of blocks away from place de armies metro station or a 10-15 min walk to down town to st. catherine street. China town was a couple of streets away, a great soup and dumplings place there for lunch or dinner. A convenience store open till 2300 hrs just on the ground floor along with a cafe for breakfast. Kitchen was well equipped and the studio also had a washer dryer. Hakim was available to answer questions by text. Definitely recommended.

  • I had a conference at the Palais de Congrès, and this was the perfect location. There's also a really handy corner store attached to the building. Hakim was quick to respond with any questions I had, but otherwise it felt like I was staying at a hotel. Would stay again.

  • Great clean, compact space. Building is quite secure. Location is minute away from Palais de Congres. Couple minutes away from either Place d'Armes or Square Victoria metro.

  • Everything about this apartment was perfect! Location, convenience, condition all the creature comforts one could need were up to par. We were able to walk 5 minutes from the Amtrak train to get to the apt. without any issue (even with snow on the ground). Two other things stood out about the apt, there is a convenience store in the downstairs from which you can enter right through a door in the lobby, the other thing is the cute little cafe located next to the building entrance. All utensils were included, dishwashing liquid, scrubbers and hand soap. We cooked while there so these things were important. We would definitely return and Montreal was a beautiful place even in dead of winter. Hakim was also responsive to all my texts and emails. Thanks Hakim and thanks Montreal!
