About This Listing
Very nice flat with separated bedroom; wooden exposed beams on the ceiling. It is a typical antique Parisian apartment. It is a parquet floor. Decoration is simple and furniture is modern, design and functional.
The apartment has a kitchen totally equipped, flat TV screen, Internet, Wi-Fi, Hi Fi system with dock for iPhone or iPod and washing machine. There is a big bed for two people. The apartment is silent because the windows open on a courtyard, far from the street chaos.
Situated in the heart of Paris: 2 min. by foot from the biggest malls (the Galeries Lafayette and Printemps), 5 min. from the Opéra place and at the foot of the Montmartre neighborhood. The apartment is ideally situated in order to visit real Parisian places. I’ll be delighted to give you all my Parisian tips and advice to visit the best places where Parisians go and avoid the touristic masses. Close the door with the key each time you go out.

Take your trash out and put in in the building's hall
Our stay was perfect!! Virginie wasn't able to meet us, but her mother, a very nice lady waited for us and although our flight was late due to a strike, there was no problem. The studio is beautiful and exactly as it appears on the pictures, very well kept. Spacious living room, with cable TV, kitchen with everything we needed, and a nice fridge /freezer, comfortable bed, lots of space in the closet, a good bathroom (not big, but with a window). Excelent wi-fi. The studio is located in the back of the building, with no view, but has privacy. A high point is the quietness and the silence. The chinese restaurant on the ground floor does not disturb. The building has an elevator that serves from the first floor , so one must climb few steps, not so easy with heavy luggage. The loccation couldn't be better : close to Galeries LaFayette, Primtemps, grocery store (Monoprix) and lots of places to eat - from restaurants to quick snacks (Cojean is my favorite) and the metro.

The apartment was just as advertised! The location is amazing (2 min to the Galleries Lafayette, 10 min to the Louvre) and lots of different metros near-by. Virginie was not able to let me in but had her friend give me the keys. There was some problems with the internet but Virginie was very helpful in trying to get it up. Eventually it was fixed the day after my arrival. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Paris! I would definitely stay here again and probably will do so next time I am in town for work!
Great place, great host! Spent 2 weeks in this adorable flat! Everything is just as described. Perfect location, very close to metro station, buses and different attractions. Will come back for sure!
Great apartment, spacious and quiet with lots of light.
It is very well located with lots of restaurants around and a safe building.
About the Host, Virginie
I was born in Paris and I've always been living in this city. I studied communication and advertising and I now work in an advertising agency. I've been living in London and in Valencia. I love discovering new places and new cities so I'd like to offer people the chance to live like a real Parisian for a week-end or for some holidays. I live in a wonderful neighborhood in the center of Paris and I'm close from every nice spot in Paris: 2 min from the Galeries Lafayette and from the Opéra, 20min from Montmartre... I have bought a very cosy apartment 2 years ago and it is totally rebuilt and new since October 2011. You will love the wooden style of my flat, very cosy, design, comfortable and well equipped!
I will give you all my Parisian tips and advice to visit the best places in town: where to have the best brunch, the best place to look for vintage clothes, the best place to have a hot chocolate and buy macarons... and to avoid the touristic masses
