A new, bright, non smoking and tastefully decorated 1 bedroom apartment in central Paris. Great transport, a food haven for food lovers within walking distance from the quartier Montorgueil area, and many important national museums and sites
A bright, non smoking and tastefully decorated apartment in the centre of the city of lights.
The apartment is located in a quiet street ( after 7pm every evening and weekends / residents are mostly young professionals, business owners, and young families), in the much searched after second district of Paris. From here, you are just a quick metro ride ( 2 main train stations, both a 5 minute walk) to most monuments, museums, cathedrals, restaurants and shopping galleries. During the summer and sunny days, you can easily walk to most destinations.
As well, the famously known district of Montorgueil ( Paris most famous street known for its fine French cuisine and local organic products, cafes, eclectic food scene, wine bars, fine bakery shops and more) is just around the corner. This area is known for its French countryside feeling in the city. A popular spot for locals to socialize while doing their fresh local bought organic food shopping. The area is perfectly lined with famous restaurants, cafes, bakeries (including the famous La Maison Stopher) fish mongers, flower shops, produce stands, cheese shops, wine shops and its great night life...it's a magical location to start discovering Paris, if you are a food ' I must try everything while in France' kind of folk! I am!
For those travelling on a special diet...no worries. Two organic grocery stores are just a five minute walk. For parents with little ones, 4 local groceries stores and a nearby pharmacy open 6 days a week. ( two groceries open on Sundays until 1pm)
This apartment can sleep up to 4 people ( pls check with me, first :) ) and it has everything ready to call it home.
(This flat is on the 3rd floor ( US equivalent: walk up) of a recognized historical building, therefore, no lift )
In the main room, there`s top of the line internet, wi-fi, international TV, free international calls to most countries ( please check with me for further information) and a sound system. For a relaxing evening, a lovely dining table for four to enjoy all the lovely goodies from rue MONTOGEUIL. In addition, a comfy sitting area, tv with English channels, and a large, recently purchased bed.
In the entry room, there`s a full size sofa bed ( nice and quiet ...it faces the inner court of the building) is ready to go. In the same room a large closet with lots of storage area can be used to fit suit cases and lots of everything! ( an iron and an ironing board, and a baby feather mattress stored in the closet )
The kitchen is fully equipped: micro oven, oven, stove, fridge, toaster, water bolier, and coffee machine...plus all the cooking tools to make a great meal with all the fresh products from rue montorgueil.
The bathroom comes with a real shower, good hot running water, with superb water pressure!, a washer and drier, towel drier and hair dryer.
The WC has a traditional toilet...no funny cables to pull!
This apartment is in the heart of the city; the evenings and weekends are quiet due to the fact that, rue de caire is located in the garment district ( the Soho of Paris & since this is mostly Jewish owned businesses, the area is closed on Saturdays, and on Sundays the area is pedestrian...quiet during weekends and evenings)
In nutshell, what I like the most about this apartment is its location. The area is covered with cafes, squares, tiny streets full of history and beautiful Parisian architecture. As well as the typical Parisian family owned shops, and amazing food! Central Paris is a wonderful and unforgettable experience!
Looking forward to meeting you in the heart of this amazing and beautiful city!
Line 4 : Line 3. Within two stops away from Chatalet: large, central Paris transport hub, 2 stations away from Eurostar and 2 stations away from Opera ( AIRFRANCE bus from CDG stops here...the best way to get into town)
Interaction with Guests
I always available by phone, text, email
Great location in central PARIS in one of the city`s oldest neighborhoods. A great place to arrive, put on your walking shoes and get ready to get lost! The architecture, the narrow streets, the endless unique, charming shops and boutiques of locally owned Parisians, and the amazing food and wine scene! A true Parisian experince!
Plenty! Line 4, line 3 and within 2 stops from:
Chatalet, 3 stops from Eurostar, and 2 from Opera...very central line connections to all rest the city and suburbs
Other Things to Note
This is a flat that I prefer to rent for 7 days and more. However, shorter period may be possible.

Please....a kind remind you that this our home away from home...
To help us maintain and offer the same quality to our guest, we ask, pls:
No eating on the bed ( pls, report any incidents asap )
No eating or placing suit cases on the red sleeping sofa
Use the shower room to spray beauty products
After taking shower, pls, open a little bit the kitchen window...these very old Parisians flats don`t breath very well and humidity loves to stay in the walls

Small pets allowed
No loud noise or music after 10PM in the building as well in the covered gallery
Must leave all dishes washed
Must take out trash bags
Only toilet paper to be flushed down the toilet

last and very important .... pls, check you have your keys before leaving the flat.
I thank you in advance,
The "detail" is the topic which my wife and I still talked about it after we left Paris couple days. What kinds of the detail we should copy to our next house? All detail in this apartment brought us very nice memory and comfortable staying. Monica, the host, not only set the fabulous staying facility including comfortable beds, convenient kitchen and bath room but also create it as home with clean and warm feeling. We have already booked our next visiting with Monica :)
Monica is a delightful, easily accessible and helpful host. The apartment is clean, comfortable and situated on a quiet street. However, within steps the neighborhood opens up into main and pedestrian streets filled with restaurants, meat, cheese, bakery shops and many more conveniences. We enjoyed the size and "home based' feel of the apartment which one does not necessarily get while staying in a decent hotel room. One can walk to places of interest, hail a cab on a main street or take the metro which is closely located. The apartment is on the third floor accessible by a three flight spiral staircase. The only time this was a challenge was on arrival and departure when carrying full sized luggage. We enjoyed our stay!
Monica made us feel very welcome and she went out of her way in making sure we could reach the apartment given a taxi strike in Paris. We were happy to find everything as advertised.
Monica was a great host! We were a group of 4 adults. The apartment size was comfortable for us, and I was pleased that our location was quiet at night. I loved how close we were to everything! We walked to the Louvre, Notre Dame. Champs Élysées and Centre Pompidou with no problem. Monica was very helpful and easy to contact. We got a little lost the first day trying to find the apartment after getting off the metro, then felt foolish when we realized we pretty much had to go straight and walk about 3 min. We had a great time overall and we definitely would recommend this place
Thank you Micaela for your kind feedback.
The sofabed: this flat is our flat when we leave Paris; The Sofabed was bought for my child. However, I do accept reservations for 4 adults during high peaks seasons. Central Paris can be very pricy & if I can help ... why not:)
