Other things to note
🔉The studio is adjacent to a separate apartment next door, so please simply be considerate. The studio is located on the ground level of the building, up 4 steps off of the sidewalk, and though it’s a residential neighborhood, it's still the city so there will be general background city noise.

🤏🏽 Micro Studio = "Small but Mighty" according to guests. 170 sqft/15sqm. If a spacious room matters, consider our Master Suite with en-suite bath.

2nd & 3rd Guest Fee: $36/night/guest on Airbnb, $30/night/guest on Direct
3 Guests total is maximum coziness
1 Pet may be allowed, requiring prior approval before booking: $36/night.

Personal laundry is not a unit amenity, but there is Sunny Laundromat at the bottom of the hill by the T (subway) station. 7 mins walk.

Our area is considered safe and quiet for Boston, but this is the city, and anything can happen anywhere at any time so I always like to tell people to have common sense in travel in the whole city. We are walking distance to many good cafes, bars, restaurants down Tremont St past the T (subway) station and a ~$8 Uber ride to the day/nightlife of the Back Bay.

Neighborhood highlights

Located in historic Fort Hill (Highland Park), the center of Boston's Roxbury neighborhood. My home is in a wonderful & diverse urban residential/bedroom community. Steeped in history since the 1630, this hill has hosted figures such as several of the key founders of Harvard University, George Washington and Henry Knox during the Siege of Boston in the revolution, to the famous abolitionist William Llyod Garrison (whose home is close by and the water fountain in front of the house is designed in his image). After transforming into one of the nation's first streetcar suburbs, now Fort Hill is one of the most sought after and up and coming residential neighborhoods in the city with a diverse community of young professionals, working class and long time residents. The neighborhood is a history lover or architect's dream with every period represented. We have a progressive and engaged group of residents where one of the world's leading experts in urban farming resides, lots of public spaces, urban wilds (including our wild turkeys), community gardens, and has become city's foremost leader in passive houses and energy positive homes.
