I would like to share my beautiful 5 room apartment with travellers coming to Copenhagen. I live alone in the flat. When I rent out room(s) I will sometimes be here and share the flat with my guests. Sometimes I will rent out the whole flat (150 m2), and then leave it entirely to my guests.
The apartment is situated at Østerbro, a central, but yet quiet and green area of (website hidden) is very close to the sea(Øresund) and the port of Copenhagen. It is only a 15 minutes walk to the cruise terminal.Besides there is a nice, small beach and a big park in the neighbourhood.
Apart from that there are many nice shops and big supermarkets plus cafés and restaurants of all different nationalities and price levels.
Bus 1A right across the street takes you to the city centre in 10-15 minutes, and there is a 7 minutes walk to the S- train which is only 5 stops from the central station.
The flat has 5 rooms, a living room and a study ensuite plus 3 bedrooms (2 double, 1 single) 1 bathroom and a kitchen.
The big bay window in the living room, and the three-light- windows in the other rooms fill the whole place with light.
Wifi is available.
Duvets, bedlinen and towels provided.
The atmosphere of my place is one of quietness, comfort and feeling at home.
Vivian has been the most lovely host I've ever met! The kitchen, the rooms, the bathroom .. Everything was perfectly clean and you can see how she furnished every room with lots of love.
The neighborhood is very quiet, so I had a recreative deep sleep in the big bed I had all to myself :)
Vivian was very caring and helpful. I'm sure I'll come back to the beautiful city of Copenhagen someday and I'll ask Vivian for sure if she likes hosting me again :)
Vivian's lovely, spacious and well furnished apartment is on the 3rd floor (no lift) of a large residential group of flats, surrounding a central courtyard, with balconies overlooking this open space. The nearest free car parking is several blocks away, so bear that in mind if arriving by car.
A regular, very reliable bus, which takes you into the centre of Copenhagen in about 15 minutes, is just across the road. Walking into the centre, which we did on our 1st morning, would take about 45 mins. There are several nice eating places, supermarkets and shops in close vicinity to the apartment. Vivian, who is a retired languages teacher and who speaks perfect English, (email hidden). Although she was at home during our stay, the apartment is big enough to not be in each other's way and Vivian remained very discreet, allowing us our own space, whilst being approachable for advice and tips about restaurants, shopping and information about the general way of life in Denmark. We enjoyed sharing the odd glass of wine with her during this lovely stay.
Vivian's apartment was indeed an excellent choice for us, spacious,
comfortable and immaculately clean. We would happily stay with
her again and we do recommend her apartment to others without hesitation.
In every respect Vivian (email hidden).
