Gina B&B was fantastic. Great room, an awesome location in Buenos Aires.
Mabel's recommendation for dinner was the best.
Anything we asked Mabel was there to offer or help.
Would definitely stay here again.
I can't offer more advice than that.
Séjour parfait, appartement bien situé. Gina est très accueillante.
Parfait pour nous.
Mabel was a very accommodating host, leaving work in the middle of the day to meet me when a strike messed up my flights. She was very friendly and kind, and the B&B is really in an ideal location, in a beautiful European-inspired building. Recoleta cemetery is really close, as is a lot of good shopping and other sights. My room was spotless!
Gina, the namesake, was a fun little pup to have running around.
As BsAs was blisteringly hot, and only a few rooms in the B&B have A/C, there wasn't much hanging out outside the bedrooms. That was a little isolating, and I would bet that in the spring and fall, the B&B is a little more alive and talkative. Breakfast was simple, but there are tons of groceries nearby. A nice place for a short stay!
Gina is a nice lady who takes good care of her guests. I can recommend Gina's Bed and Breakfast to everyone. It is ideal for those who want to discover Buenos Aires in a short time period.
We stayed four nights with Gina and it was great. Location very central and room was spacious. We felt very at home. Because of the location the room was quite noisy so possibly not great if you are a light sleeper but we slept fine. Gina lent us her bus pass which was very kind and left breakfast out for whenever we wanted it. Can wholly recommend! Be sure to visit Pani just around the corner for food!
Mabel is a very nice person!! she took care of me and gave me very good advices. The house is really nice and the location awesome.
Nice and clean room with comfortable bed.
Very well located in La Recoleta.
Mabel is very friendly and willing to help you.
Overall a very clean and pleasant flat in a good location - plenty of different buses stop nearby so getting around the city is easy. It's ideally situated for the main Recoleta sights. Our room was spacious and had air-con, although we didn't need it in October! We also appreciated having access to the kitchen for preparing meals. One thing to note is that this room is quite noisy as it looks over a busy street, but it wasn't a problem for us.
Mabel was really super nice and went out of her way to make my stay both relaxing and worry free. As my flight was re-routed due to bad weather in BA, I arrived 5 hours later than planned. Mabel was very flexible and made time to come back home to let me in and show me to my room - very delightful lady. The B&B is very tidy and quaint - like the pictures and offered a nice simple breakfast that was light and perfect after a night of heavy grilled meats. Since it is right around the corner from the Cemetary, the location fit my one night stay very well.
The apartment is well located and comfortable with a small balcony that looks out on the Recoleta cemetery.
The building is old but charming. It has an elevator that you must manually open and close the doors! It felt like another era .
Mabel keeps it very clean. She is delightful!
The bath room is large by Argentine standards. I did not realize that it was a shared bathroom if other guests were there, but it turned out to be okay.
Mabel speaks little English, I speak little Spanish, but my son is fluent so he was able to translate for us.
I would stay at Gina's if I go back to Buenos Aires again.
