We had a wonderful stay in Beijing! Qing the manager and all the girls were very friendly, helped us everyday for anything we needeed! They welcome us with a big smile even at 5am after our flight was delay for 3 hours. They helped us book some restaurant/ massage/ manucure, they came with us to show us the way and the room was as shown on the picture, bright and spacious! I would highly recommend to any friends travelling to Beijing! It was perfect and heartbroken to say goodbye.
Thank you again!
Great location, only a few minutes to the subway and the airport express. Nathan was a very nice host and everytime very helpfull.
We didn't have a great experience, but having said this, the truth is that attention received by Nathan was good and he tried to solved all the problems we had.
First of all I have to explain that Nathan manages not a single apartment but several of them, so when you rent the apartment you really don't know in which one are you going to stay; this wasn't a problem for us, as apparently all of them were very similar. But the truth is that the apartment we were assigned it didn't look like as the one in the pictures, although this was not a big deal for us. The problem was the lack of cleanliness (a lot of hair in the shower), poor maintenance, and the strong noise of the bed and of the AC. (And finally, to ending our first day in Beijing, a Chinese man came to our apartment main entrance at 4 am in the morning, shouting and knocking at the door... Scaring!)
We asked Nathan to be changed to another apartment, and the day after we packed everything and Nathan and his assistant moved our luggage to the new apartment while we were out exploring Beijing. When we arrived in the afternoon Vera, his assistant, show us the new apartment, but the first thing we saw when we open the door was a cockroach running along the kitchen. Then we thought: "ok, this can happen in a city with this level of humidity. Maybe there is only one or two". When we woke up the day after, we find several cockroaches around the apartment, so we decide to buy a pesticide spray to kill them. We told Nathan about this, and he offered us to change again to another apartment but we declined his offer as it was quite upsetting to pack and unpack again. We decided to try with the pesticide, but it didn't work: when we arrived home that afternoon, the apartment was full of cockroaches running everywhere. Really disgusting!! So again, we sent an email to Nathan saying that the pesticide didn't work, and that we need a new apartment for the day after or if not, we would have to look for another accommodation. That evening Nathan sent us two emails: in the first one he said that he had another apartment available and that we could transfer the day after. In the second email, he said that he had reconsidered he matter and thought that it would be better if we found another accommodation, as he didn't know if he was going to be able to solve the problem in the next 24 hours... He offered us a full refund, and we decided to accept and find another place to stay.
As I said at the beginning, we didn't have a good experience but the level of service was good, as Nathan always reply our emails and offered a solution.
Excellent central location that's near the subway. The apartment itself is well-designed and comfortable (for 1, in my case), and Nathan is accommodating and willing to offer sight-seeing suggestions. On the whole I was very happy with my stay there!
Great place, and very good location. Clean, spacious, and with all the amenities you could ask for. Very highly recommended.
Apartment was very clean and comfortable, nice simple furniture and decor, and the complex was really nice - well kept gardens, pleasant atmosphere. The wireless internet in the apartment worked really well, which was important for me. The apartment is in a great location - plenty of cafes and bars, convenient for the airport and the metro system. The apartment complex itself is right next to a huge supermarket selling imported foods.
Nathan was a great host. Made sure the move in went smoothly and quickly dealt with any questions I had, and issues that came up.
