A fantastic place to stay. My girlfriend and I stayed in Alondra's house for 4 days over new years. Alondra made us feel incredibly welcome in her beautiful apartment. I would highly recommend it to anyone that is visiting mexico city
Alondra is amazing host- friendly, relaxed, and super helpful! We got in after midnight our first night and thanks to her we were able to arrive safely and meet the doorman who had a key ready for us. She had breakfast for us and a great map of the city. The apartment is simple, safe, clean, and comfy. We loved having the little balcony to look out over the city. The location was great too - very cool neighborhood with little stores and restaurants and a metro stop just 5 blocks away. Gracias Alondra por una experiencia excelente!
Alondra is a superb host and an excellent guide to DF. She provided thorough instruction and direction re: check in and patiently answered all of our questions throughout the stay. We loved discovering the local area around her apartment. Alondra kept the apartment clean and the hot drink station well stocked! We really enjoyed chatting with her, learning more about Mexico and also the local cuisine :-)
Hola Alondra! thank you very much for the nice and comfortable room! everything was so easy and we felt like at home in your place! you helped us a lot with all our questions and your Mole was even better then in Oaxaca! :)
Alondra was extremely helpful and provided tons of information to make sure I had no problem locating her place and making my way there. Once I arrived, she took a lot of time from her busy schedule to answer all my questions and give me pointers to make the most of my stay. She even let me borrow a map for use during my stay.
The unit itself is compact and cozy; even with a few other occupants, it didn't seem like we were stepping on each others toes. The neighborhood is quiet and has street food and other stores. It is a cab ride or subway ride away from major attractions.
A word of caution though: travel light or be prepared to get a workout. It is 5 blocks from the metro station and 5 flights up a narrow flight of stairs. It will leave you gasping for breath in that thin Mexico City air.
The highlight of the stay was connecting with Alondra. She is an avid bicycling enthusiast and I hope to take advantage of some of the cycling opportunities the next time I am in Mexico City. Thanks for everything, Alondra.
Absolutely perfect. Couldn't of asked for a better experience. You want a place to feel right at home this is the place! Thanks again for everything!
