The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There are supermarkets and malls 5 streets away such as oxxo, Superama and parks, plus local businesses in the Polanco area, wich is 10 minutes away from the apartment.
Polanco is considered by many the trendiest area in the city, where you can find many restaurants, cafes and bars. The apartment is also close (about 15 minutes)from the Bosque de Chapultepec, and reforma avenue wich concentrates a lot museums, anthropology one of them.
You can enjoy a delightful walk in this modern avenue. From my space you can easily move to other areas of the city, a few steps from public transportation that leaves you on the subway, or just a 5 minutes walk and you're in the San Joaquin metro station from there move to the center and it will take you 20 minutes, Condesa neighborhood 30 minutes, Barrio Coyoacan 45 minutes.
I will always be in the best position to explain how to move around the city. I feel that sharing will always be enriching for both.
Alondra is a fantastic host! She is not only friendly, but also very forthcoming with help and suggestions. She has definitely made a huge positive difference to my stay in Mexico City. ¡Muchas gracias!
Alondra was a fantastic host! She had great info and tips about traveling in Mexico City and beyond. Great breakfasts and good talks. Stay with her and you won't regret it! I miss it already.
Staying with Alondra was a great experience for me. She is extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. She gave me a Mexican phone to use and a metro card, and she helped me navigate the city and gave me plenty of tips, even though she was very busy during the time of my stay. I learned about some aspects of Mexican culture through our conversations, which I really enjoyed. The breakfast was tasty, and there was always water to be had. Thanks Alondra, I really appreciate all your help!
Alondra is a superb host. As her previous guests have pointed out, she is mellow, a pleasure to talk to, and all-around cool. Her considerate, accommodating, and caring nature is quite refreshing. In the morning, Alondra has sliced seasonal fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, and traditional Mexican bread for her guests. How rad is that? She knows Mexico City like the back of her palm. When I was ill, Alondra prepared me the best chamomile tea one can imagine. When I checked out, she gifted me a nice bouquet of freshly picked chamomile so that I can make tea while on the road. Seriously, do not hesitate to book your stay with Alondra. She is w(phone number hidden)nderfu!
Alondra is a natural great host! She makes you feel at home and welcome as she takes pride in her home. The neighborhood is easily accessible by the metro and has many local restaurants and amazing market 2 blocks away. This pied a terr was a perfect start to my Mexico trip. I highly recommend Alondra and her lovely home.
Alondra is an amazing host!! She gave suggestions for where to go and also went along with me for late night tacos when I arrived and joined me on a visit to the food market a few days later. Her flat is simple but nice. I was in a shared room but it was comfortable and great for the price. The location is a little bit out of the way but there are plenty of places to visit nearby and it's not too hard to get to the central plaza on the metro. I would highly recommend staying here and meeting Alondra!!
This was my first experience with Airbnb so I was a bit nervous but Alondra is an excellent host. She went out of her way to welcome me and make me feel at home. Her apartment is in a secure building a few minutes walk from the metro (she will let you borrow a metro card). There is a large supermarket and many other smaller shops and places to eat walking distance in the neighborhood. The apartment is on the 5th floor (good workout) and smaller than it looks in the pictures but it is clean and comfortable. Alondra is very kind and hospitable, she always has lots of fruit for breakfast and makes some really good coffee and tea. Also she always has plenty of bottled water for you to drink. She has lots of maps and will show you where you want to go and how to get there. I booked with Alondra because she had nothing but good reviews. She really is as nice as everyone says she is. I enjoyed my visit to Mexico in this nice apartment with a great host!
Staying with Alondra was fantastic. My friend and I stayed for four days and both agree that we have never met anyone as helpful and lovely as Alondra. The house is very clean and comfortable but it really is the host that makes this place a great spot to stay. She was always willing to help us and would go out of her way to make sure we enjoyed her beautiful city. 100% recommend people to stay here.
Alondra was a lovely host and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with her. She is warm, caring, and thoughtful and was certain to take some time each day to check in on me and see if I needed anything. Her apartment is very clean and organized and well located for visiting downtown DF. I hope that next time that I visit DF that she will have room for me.
Alondra was a really great host, she helped me in everything I asked for. It's a very good quality/price room, not in the middle of the action, but close to the subway! I recommend it, stop searching!
