1920s Speakeasy Themed Suite
Experience CHICAGO in style! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live during the roaring 20s?!
Come stay in this prohibition-era themed hideaway, and don't worry- booze is not off limits! Perfect for a cozy stay or romantic getaway, this sleekly furnished apartment is on ground level in one of the best neighborhoods in the city!
Don't worry- it may be 1920s in the decor, but it has present day amenities!

The space
As you enter the unit you are instantly transported to what it felt like entering a secret rotgut room back in the day. You walk down the stairs and admire the contemporary take on a classic Burlesque theme wall-covering while maintaining an essence of glamour and sophistication. At the foot of the stairs you have a French Louis XIV style burl wood console table to place your "modern essentials." Move along to hang up your hat and/or coat (no check ticket needed!). Then pass through the entry and get ready to relax and enjoy the comfort!

Come indulge yourself in this lavishly furnished gin mill suite! Gab, drink, or do the Charleston in the parlor (living room area). If you are feeling lucky, head over to the poker table and place your bets! (Dining table converts into a game table!) Or just sit and watch in the booth inspired by the Green Mill where all the mob gangsters used to hang out! (Green Mill is still open with live Jazz Music; just a 6 minute drive!) Help yourself to an Old Fashioned or whip up a meatloaf in the kitchen that's equipped with a stove top/oven, microwave and fridge among other modern conveniences.

Need a cat nap after all that fun you're having? Pick one of the two bedrooms and relax and admire the wall mural of Cockatoos and Avocado (the same art work that was hanging in Al Capone's prison cell!) There are black out shades that will help ensure a relaxed snooze. Don't worry- it may be 1920s in the decor, but the televisions are equipped with most major present day streaming platforms. When you need to freshen up, enjoy a two-headed shower in the restroom and appreciate the vintage fixtures that warps you to a different era!

Experience feeling like a Chicago local in this quiet neighborhood off the main boulevard (Clark Street). Centrally located you are just minutes from upscale shopping, world class restaurants, museums, galleries, bars and so much more!
