Olive gîte on Domaine de la Matte a peaceful farm just 15 min. drive to Carcassonne. The gîte has 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with a bunk bed and a double bed, 2 bathrooms with a bath, fully equipped kitchen, living room with dining table and outside private terrace. Breakfast and dinner is optional (table d'hôtes).

The domaine has 18 hectors with farm animals and forest. There is a playground with swings, trampoline etc. The swimming pool is open from 23 June to 20 September.

The space
Beautiful, peaceful, rural, farm cottges set in 100 acres, and surrounded by national park and vines. Just 15 mins from Carcassonne medival La Cite and airport. Two Cottages on site Olive Cottage comprises of:-Two bedrooms, both with, luxury bedding and towels and views to surounding coutryside, bedroom 1 with double bed,bedroom 2 with double and bunk beds, two newly installed bathrooms both with bath/shower, wc basin. Downstairs large openplan, living with sofa, TV, music system, DVD, WIFI and cosy wood burner, dining and kitchen with washing machine, kettle, combi oven, hob fridge freezer etc. The cottage has outside private patio and seating, large BBQ, parking, sun lounging area, and views over our fields to the, goats and emu. Close to Lastours, canel de midi, grottos and many other attractions.

Domaine de la Matte also has another holiday gîte for 6 persons (Vine) and 2 studio's on site.

Guest access
Guests have access to the grounds of Domaine de la Matte, with our animals: goats, cats and an emu. Garden with sun terrace area's and lots of walking space. We are surrounded by vines and national parks and perfectly located to relax and unwind. Or to go sightseeing. Carcassonne, Chateaux Lastours, Canal de midi, wonderful French markets and vineyards are all close.
