Exterior
Looking outwards, the holiday home fits seamlessly into the structure of the grown centre of Königsdorf. Inspired by the rural construction of the barns and outbuildings in the Bavarian Oberland, the holiday home is designed as a long, clear building with wooden formwork and red beaver tail roof covering. The building is deliberately chosen by its proportion in such a way that it integrates into the village structure: the flat elongated building continues with its eaves height the height staggering of the buildings on the village road and thereby closes a city-spatial gap.

Interior
From the entrance area you can access the spacious living and dining room, bathroom and one bedroom. The living area is divided into a lounge and dining area on the ground floor and a games and reading gallery upstairs. The large glass front facing south makes the room bright and flooded with light and invites you to the terrace in front. Lateral wind and privacy protection ensures relaxing moments with morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The gaming and reading gallery is an extension of the living space and is directly connected to it via a staircase. Here, young and old can retreat and still be there. On the upper floor under the cozy roof gable there is another bedroom with wonderful views of the village church.

Materials
The love for wood is felt throughout the house. Walls and roof are insulated with a natural wood insulation material and planked with formaldehyde-free wood-based materials. The wall surfaces to the interior are made of untreated larch. The pleasant living climate and the distinctive smell of the wood are noticed as soon as you enter the house. The floor coverings are of course also chosen: on the ground floor, the screen paint creates a modern and exciting contrast to the wooden panelling of the walls, while the underfloor heating also ensures the necessary thermal comfort. Upstairs, a carpet made of wool creates a distinctive feel-good atmosphere. The interior is harmoniously coordinated and follows the warm sand colors of the wood. The black lighting elements and the railing of the gallery provide exciting accents.

Facilities
Both kitchen and bathroom have high-quality facilities. The black fittings provide a charming contrast to the earthy, sandy tones.

Outdoor facilities
Directly at the entrance is a parking space belonging to the house. A few steps lead guests to the entrance, which is idyllically oriented towards the garden pond. Here, a wooden walkway leads along the facade further around the house to the southern wooden terrace. This is exclusively used by guests of the apartment. Here you can drink coffee or a glass of wine in the evening - protected from the eyes and the wind. The further garden with pond and historic castle spring round off the special living experience.
