Apartment - Entire home/apt · Vorgartenstraße, Vienna, Vienna 1020, Austria

The Space

Great apartment with scenic views (6th floor) of Vienna's vineyards, close to the Danube, Vienna International City (United Nations building), convention center and the Prater, one of Vienna's main attractions.

The apartment is surrounded by parks but still very central (7 minutes walk to the subway: U1, the central line that takes you to Stephansplatz in 6 minutes). Proximity to the Danube means you can easily go for a swim, inline skating or take a stroll in a beautiful surrounding.

Large balcony, free high speed wireless internet and satellite TV available. The apartment is recommended for 2 people but it is possible to stay with 3 people as well (there is one spare mattress / airbed available).

Linen, towels, shampoo, hair dryer are available!

If you do not like walking to the red line station Vorgartenstrasse, there is a bus station 100m away from the apartment that takes you to the red line (U1), purple line (U2) and green line (U4) (walking normally takes 7-8 minutes).

  • I stayed at Benjamin's apartment for a whole month while I was doing an internship. Was very happy with the apartment and the amenities, you'll find pretty much anything a traveler needs. Very clean, very comfy, I felt at home after the first couple of hours. The location is convenient and easy to reach, all the necessities are within walking distance. The neighborhood itself is very quiet - even a little sleepy.

  • I had a great experience staying in Benjamin's apartment. It was within walking distance to the Messe Wien Conference Centre. Amenitites close by include a lovely park and an Aldi for your groceries!

  • Alles hat super geklappt. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und das Badezimmer ist super ;) Falls wir mal wieder in Wien sind, wohnen wir dort gerne wieder.

  • I was staying at Benjamin's place for almost 3 weeks as I had a training assignment in Vienna, and I must say that was the best choice. The apartment is exactly as you see it on the pics. There is everything you need. It's very bright, clean, modern facilities, etc.. There was even some beer in the fridge!
Ben organized a friend to meet me to handover the keys, which worked out very well.
The area is a newly built residential area, not many restaurants and bars around, but you are in the city centre after 3 stops with the metro. The walk to the metro is around 7min which can be a bit long when it's cold and rainy (as in my case). But there is a bus just a block away which brings you to the metro in no time.
I must say I really enjoyed the stay at Benjamin's, and would definitely stay there again next time in Vienna. Great Place!

  • BENJAMIN'S FLAT
    2013 May

You, who is going to Wien, here are some facts about Benjamin's flat:

1, Here was the first time, I tried Almradler (a radler beer, 40% Marzenbier, 60% Almdudler). It was waited us in Benjamin fridge.  I don't like beer, exept the Gaffel Kölsch, but I loved it!
2, His bookshelf is full of treasures. Asimov, Duglas Adams, Frank Herbert, Sartre, Fitzgerald, Wallpaper magazines-so if the weather is not friendly, you can find sg to read.
3, In his kitchen, you can find everything to make a meal. We had our dinner in the terrace. I loved to drink my first coffee there too, day-dreaming, staring at the hills.
3, From the appartment it took us 20 minutes to get to the Alte-Donau wich is extremly clean, and the strandbad was only 5€/person after 1pm.

We enjoyed our time in Benjamin's appartment, nex time we'll try to book again.
    End of line.

  • Very nice apartment with all the necessary amenities.

    May 2013
  • Benjamin's apartment was fantastic. Very clean, had everything I needed and it was a nice homely haven to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. It is a studio apartment so the bed is near the living room but, as I was staying there by myself, it was absolutely fine. There is a separate bathroom with large shower, vanity, toilet and laundry facilities and this was all kept very clean.

It was very easy to get to, only a 7 min walk from the nearest train station and just a few stops into the centre of the city.

The area seems to be newly developed and it felt very clean and safe. There is a communal garden area in the apartment block area which is beautiful and used by people walking their dogs, families with small children and outdoor picnics etc. There are a number of supermarkets within 5-10 mins walk of the apartment.

Benjamin's communication was timely and helpful and I was able to collect the keys from his girlfriend at the specified place on time and with no trouble at all. On leaving, I was simply asked to leave the keys inside and shut the door - simple!

I would definitely recommend Benjamin's apartment to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of Vienna.
